Blind Item #10

For the past couple of weeks I have been talking about the drug use of this foreign born A- list dual threat actress. Producers are starting to get wise to it and her meth face is not helping either.

  4. OT - Since everybody is congratulating Entry on the DailyBeast article (and deservedly so), I just wanted to say congratulations are also in order for all the commenters here, sleuthing and getting it right. Enty's BIs wouldn't be anywhere near as powerful if they weren't deciphered and solved by this bunch. I rarely comment, but I love reading your replies. :)

    1. This is so true. I’ve been lurking on this site forever and it’s as much because of the super sleuths as it is Enty.

  5. Definitely Ruby Rose. The DM story about her ‘acne’ issues today reeked of a PR coverup. Would explain the weight loss too....

    1. That's not acne, that's from her picking her face. Such a beautiful girl....but Ruby meth face it is!

  6. Long time lurker, first time caller here. This weekend someone posted a link to a "This is Your Life" program featuring Carpenters which I watched after taking a Google deep dive into them in conjunction with that positively mortifying BI last week. Assuming even portions of said BI were true, I watched Karen Carpenter with a profound sadness, despite all the sunshine and light she seemed to exude. I don't know why but I feel some sort of strange connection with her, maybe because my parents watched a made-for-TV movie about them which,h for whatever reason, makes up one of my earliest memories.

I love this website. I've never been to Hollywood, or even LA, but between the sordid entries on this blog, the novels of James Ellroy and the Murder House season of American Horror Story, lol I must say I have strangest vision of it in my mind's eye.

    1. Grew up listening to the Carpenters and it was really upsetting to read that blind! She was something else on all the talk shows...

    3. Me too-Close to You was sang to us by My Mom and I sang it to my girl when born...:
She died while I was in the midst (at age 11 or so) of going through the same thing which was largely undocumented at the time and unexplained. She will always be extremely-personal to me...

    5. Glad you recovered--I knew a lot of girls with this problem when I was a teen and we all had some sort of eating disorder. Nobody talked about that stuff then, so we didn't know exactly what to do about it.

    6. OB I appreciate that ...: it’ an extremely low percentile for recovery (full) and I have always felt extremely grateful, blessed and thankful for the people around me that well, it would have impossible without...I don’t speak about it much in any forum and had nine when it was happening ...(early 80s).
I just wish anyone who is /has been touched by it to know there is a full life there waiting for you ❤️

  8. Welcome aboard, Mr. Blow, if I may be so bold. I was here years ago and only recently came back. This place gets in your blood.

Also, you are so right, Mag. All the expert sleuthers here make it all the better.

  9. I still walk around singing the Carpenters, Close to You. it has been stuck in my head since i was about 7 years old I guess in 1973. My sister had the album and played it all the time. (my brother had better taste in music...and gave me my intro to heavy metal they were both 10 years older than me)
Anyway, my sister and mom loved Karen Carpenter, That bi from last week was really upsetting to think about.

    1. Yeah i tried to listen to some Carpenters last week after Enty posted that BI and I ended up turning it off.

  10. Ruby looks awful. Funny how people think the world is stupid how she blamed her face on doing phone interviews and bacteria on her phone. Like she holds her phone during those. She’s so gaunt and her face is caving in. I watch this going on w my sister, meth meth meth. I hated her character in oitnb.

  11. I had to web search her to see who she was/what she looked like and top question was "what gender is Ruby Rose?" can't be good lol. anyhow, very pretty girl in older shots

  12. Thank you for the welcome, Lynne. Re: Karen Carpenter, yeah, seeing some Google images of her with the "Lead Sister" t-shirt on and smiling, it's just awful to think of all the horrors she most likely experienced. I think it is easier to feel true nostalgia for a time period when one was not yet alive, but has only heard things about. I know the 70s were probably a time of fear and upheaval for many people but as someone who did not experience it firsthand, it is easy for me to compartmentalize it and define it by all the tidy generational labels I have at the ready. Kinda like when you're reading a book about someone from centuries ago (or even someone more contemporaneous), and the author relates something terrible that happened to the subject, but you know (s)he made it through it and thrived despite it, and it tends to lessen the "badness" of that person's experience for the reader. Plus there's always the feeling that "we know better" in our current age. The ironic thing is that we really don't, and we see the same bad things happening to underserving people over and over again. That probably doesn't make sense, just typing from the heart. Sorry. And anyway, we all know that things didn't end well for Karen regardless of the truth of the abuses she suffered per the BI.

  13. Beautiful girl. She is vegan which she attributes being thin too,but she isn’t healthy thin- she’s -unwell thin.... I can’t say I agree 100 percent about the drugs. It looks like a classic case of AN.
Someone mentioned on her Twitter that she look d so much better 10 years ago and she said she as at her unhealthiest (diet, drinking etc). I dunno about that but she looked alive and healthy at least- this isn’t -healthy living she’s doing right now.

  14. @totaji Yeah, it's like finding out Axl Rose is a closet accountant or something. But in reverse. And on some pretty decent acid.

  15. I am very sorry to hear that, Tricia.

By the way, you are so good at the super sleuthing of the BIs.

  17. You said it Mag!! I fell down this rabbit hole about 9 years ago and have checked in most days since. Enty's blinds are great and so many have proven to be true, but what truly makes this site different from anywhere else are all of the super sleuthing regulars that are here everyday!! We've had our share of jerks here and there over the years, but the majority of the commenters here on cdan have always seemed like good, decent, funny, & smart folks. Keep up the great work detectives!!😊

  18. Ruby for sure. Her story about the phone giving her acne, is hilarious.
That's so sad though, she looks seriously ill.

    ReplyDelete
  19. For sure,BoldBlonde. If that's really the case, the are about 10 different public health agencies that'd like to get a swab from that phone and put it on a petri dish.

  21. She’s definitely got the meth “scratchy-scratchies”. Come on Ruby get off that shit, just take a look at some meth before/after pics.

  22. Don't have a TV so I've never seen OITNB. I first saw Ruby Rose a couple of months ago in Keanu Reeve's John Wick 2. She absolutely fascinated me! She is a scene stealer. I hope she gets it together soon. She makes Angelina look like Honey Boo Boo! Someone help her!!

  23. I saw Ruby as a guest judge on Australia's next top model years ago and thought she was incredibly interesting. I think she actually ended up dating one of them. If the acne story IS to cover up drug use, thats sad.

  24. Ruby looks terrrrrriible and I think she is SUCH a beauty. She looks like death, it's bad.

@mag, remember 'fake steve jobs'? he was (at one time) one of the biggest bloggers of the blogosphere.

once his identity was revealed, not so much... turned out to be a tech writer, Dan Lyons.

hopefully the daily beast article won't lead to enty being outed...

    1. It was interesting to me to see that Mark Ebner knows who Enty is. Several years ago he was all over with these really interesting articles and exposés and then he seemed to disappear. I wonder if he is Himmmm...lord knows he seemed to always know where the dirt was!

  26. Nope. Sorry OB. Not Mark Ebner. Not Buddy Ebsen, nor Lil Abner.

  29. @Admin User - I certainly hope this doesn't cause trouble or death of the blog. However, the article says Enty talked to them, which to me means Enty himself is not worried about a fallout.:)

  30. @ Jenko I saw that article also on the D.M. Plus a Big Congrats to Enty on the Daily Beast article.

  31. Hey Everyone...I've been riding with Enty since Coke Mom and MV. I never want to share Enty though....only with the regulars. That being said, congrats Enty! Bacon for everyone.....
