I don't want to ever have to see you wearing absolutely nothing Enty. I like black pants and blue shirts. I'm also beginning to like pastel colored shirts
I think I look okay in most colours - it's the shades you have to be careful with. I even bought an orange blouse this summer, and it looks great on me!
I never really thought about it until recently. Normally I just go with whatever pastels (pinks and turquoises and shades blues and baby yellows and such). It wasn't until July 2016 that I realised warm-toned colours make my face look wonky (and I probably wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for all those beauty blogs/vlogs I watch on YouTube).
Also, last year I just realised that I can only get away with wearing black if I'm not under direct sunlight (natural light) or fluorescent light. Most westerners don't even notice this, but not all Asian people have jet-black hair, some of us have copper undertones (under certain lighting, the ginger starts to show).
I was doing my OOTD selfies before heading to see a horror film in all-black during the daytime and then the sunlight made the ginger show and it completely ruined the otherwise-super-cool and sleek look. I always wanted to show up in ballet class in an all-black turtleneck leotard + fluffy black tulle like Sailor Saturn, alas it never happened because I had to quit ballet school.
That being said, I've been wearing a nail polish colour that I wouldn't normally wear (I got it in OPI's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" mini pack) since September. I wear it as a self-reminder. It's more important to be professional than to look good, IMHO... Hm. 🗽👩🏻🚕💛
I'm sorry, I'm just rattling on! I'll shut up now!
