Today's Blind Items - The Studio

Want to know the most corrupt studio? It doesn't really exist any longer. It sure made a lot of money for the people who ran it though. It was like a giant ponzi scheme. The owners siphoned all the money; took money from investors; and even raided a bank to the tune of $100M before stashing it all overseas and declaring bankruptcy.

Where did all the money go? Good question. A lot of it remains in offshore accounts. A bunch of other money though was spent on drugs and women and men and parties. This is the movie that Hollywood needs to make. Honestly, it involves many of the sexual predators that have been named over the past few weeks. Some of the owners of this place turned against each other and publicly said the same things years ago that are only now getting those same predators in trouble. No one cared before. Now they do.

Lets go through some of the players shall we?

A list public figure. John Oliver is a huge fan of this guy. Infamous wife. - In a previous blind, I wrote about how he met his wife. This was after he spent a few years at the studio passing out business cards to every blonde in town. Only blondes. Brunettes who knew about this would wear a wig because he was paying $10K for a night and would bring party favors. You needed those party favors to put out of your head who you were sleeping with. A cruel, cruel guy in bed. Those nights when he brought in a second woman were apparently the worst. Just a twisted f**k/. He is also the one who made it possible for everyone to flee with more money. Flee is a strong word. Get away with. Screw other people with by taking the money would be a good phrase too.

A list director who so far has escape this round of scandal. He had big budgets and was allowed to do what he wanted with them. The studio covered all those payments to parents of minors who complained about him sexually assaulting their teen boys. The investors thought their money was going to movies, not to sexual assault payoffs.

Another A list director. He was responsible for finding women for all the studio bosses. All of those casting calls and the executives would just happen to stop by where he would talk them up. Then, the executives would stand around watching and so many of those actresses would find the time to walk up to the executives and they just took their pick. The problem with this A list director is that he was stealing from the studio which later caused the executives to turn on the director.

This Academy Award winning actor was a partner in the studio. He just used it as another avenue to find young boys. The thing is, he and the director who also liked young boys didn't always get along. Our director liked them young, but despite the payoffs always insisted everything was consensual. The actor liked things when they were not consensual. Just an evil guy.

A list public figure. Foreign born. He specialized in throwing even more money around. He had the most of the bunch. He also had connections within an organization that not only helped launder money but also provided women as needed who were not actresses. There were some investors who enjoyed things more rough and if something happened to one of these women, they were shipped to some far corner of the world, deep underground.

  9. I'm confused. Is this referring to John Oliver the British late night host on HBO liking the first public figure. Oliver is very progressive left, so he would like democratic liberal public figures, not a GOP person especially not a Trump appointee like Steve Mnuchin (spelling???). Although, Mnuchin's wife is massively vapid and would fit the rest of that portion of the blind. Are there any Dem public figures married to semi-crazy blonde women that like attention?

  10. Dog Mom, I thought the about Oliver, but then found that he regularly burns Mnuchin on his show. So the "fan" part (IMO) is that Mnuchin provides Oliver with lots of material. so it fits.

  11. Relativity.

Probably not the The Weinstein Company...but Relativity does have some VERY interesting relationships...

Here are the board members noted from Bloomberg btw...

Ryan Kavanaugh the founder, chairman & CEO

Steve Mnuchin, co-Chairman of the Board

    Kevin Spacey, unit Chairman

Xiaoge "Hugo" Shong, member of BoD

    Ron Burkle, member BoD

  12. @Katie Watkins
Thanks. I was wondering too if it was a sarcastic "liking" of someone. If Steve Mnuchin is such a creepy gross loser he will probably be the next one of the administration to be fired. Iw wish we had a betting system where we could put real money on who Trump will fire next.

  13. John Oliver jokes about Mnuchin because they look so much alike...

  14. I`m confused are we talking about Dune Entertainment, or Rat Pac ??

    ReplyDelete
  15. Help me out, please: What was the blind about Steve Mnuchin meeting his wife?

    ReplyDelete
  16. annie roo, I think Rat Pac which was taken over by Relativity Media.
Steven Mnuchin is John Oliver's favorite
Kevin Spacey is the Academy Award winning actor
James Packer is the foreign born with the most money
Brett Ratner is the director who found women for the studio bosses

  17. Mnuchin and his equally scummy whore-bride...and yep James Packer is the last shitheel.

Note that Mnuchin was the lead scumbag/face of the group that was handed IndyMac for literally pennies on the dollar (all star assholes group consisted among others of George Soros, John Paulson, J. Christopher Flowers, and Michael Dell) following the financial crisis, renamed it OneWest, aggressively foreclosed on countless people and made a fortune flipping the bank.

Mnuchin' "film production career", direct from his wiki page, which indeed reads as a who's who of the ne'erdowells:

In 2004, he founded RatPac-Dune Entertainment as a side business, which was the financier of a number of notable films, including the X-Men film franchise and Avatar.

In Hollywood, Mnuchin, along with film producer Brett Ratner and financier James Packer, working with RatPac-Dune Entertainment, produced American Sniper and Mad Max: Fury Road. Mnuchin was co-chairman of the trio's movie company, Relativity Media, but left seven months before it went bankrupt. A source close to the company said he had resigned because of the potential for a conflict of interest between his duties at Relativity and OneWest. He and other investors reportedly "lost" $80 million."

    Convenient timing.

  21. Relativity is the corrupt studio

    1) Mnuchin
    2) Singer
    3) Ratner
    4) Spacey
    5) Packer ($cio the organization)

you know enty, you said in a former blind that Spacey was interviewed and lied to the feds about his trips to Lolita Island...but now that his scandal has blown up, won't they take another look at him? The FBI doesn't like ppl who think they are smarter than them. It's their fav type to take down.

Also, Epstein has a trial in Florida set for Dec. 5th...wouldn't it be beautiful to have some depositions necessary ;)

  22. lttt and Tara - Wow. Just WOW!!! Good info...and that article on Kavanaugh's tweets. WOW! I bet Ratner was peeing in his pants when those tweets were first posted. Of course, they were deleted. But still....those are some damaging tweets.

  23. Thank you, @kday!

  24. Spacey never ended up doing the Relativity deal. Dana didnt stay long either.

  25. Ding, ding, ding! @ Beebop. I agree with your list. Something big is about to blow re the pedo scandal involving Singer and Spacey. They're not calling it Pizzagate anymore. It has a whole new lifeform now, and the shit is real.

    ReplyDelete
  26. i always suspected kevin spacey was evil in real life. his acting wasn't always great...the southern accent in "game of cards" for example, but he played dead-eyed psychopath convincingly.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Great actor? Or Playing Himself?

    ReplyDelete
  28. @just sayin' - Kevin Spacey plays himself in his roles, IMO. Is why he's good at it. Everyone thinks he's acting but that's the real Kev.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It would be nice is Co$ went down with this ship.

    ReplyDelete
  30. +1 @Roxy - I agree. Co$ needs to go down too.

    ReplyDelete
  31. So any clues anyone on what is happening to these women? 'deep underground' means they're moved to nowheresville in the Co$ network, or literally 'dead n buried'?

    ReplyDelete
  32. @ Mrs. Meat, re-watch the movies from the 'Taken' franchise and you'll have a fair idea of where a lot of them end up. Its typical 'white slavery'. They source the girls from poor parts of Asia, Russia, and Eastern Europe. Then smuggle them into the USA, addict them to drugs, and turn them into whores. Once they get done with them they simply dispose of them however they please.

What the blind says about them being shipped to some far corner of the world also fits what happens to victims of white slavery after they are used up and no longer wanted. They are shipped back outside the USA so that they can't tell their stories to anyone. And ending up 'deep underground' probably means that they end up dead and buried somewhere shortly afterwards. They are lost and forgotten souls that no one is looking for nor will ever find.

I used to believe that this stuff was just movie fiction until I read the UN reports. Human trafficking is big business globally---its not just young women who are exploited for the pleasure of these wealthy perverts but young children too.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The corrupt studio - Relativity Media.
A list director who is assaulting boys - Bryan Singer.
Academy Award winning actor who like young boys and is cruel - Kevin Spacey.

I would like to know who is that "twisted fuck".

BTW, I don't know if Kevin Spacey is a good actor, but he was waaay too convincing in American Beauty, now that I think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. kevin spacey's brother is making his story clearer. he says kevin's always been this way, that he abused him, that he's a clone of their father. maybe his evil is a result of his victimhood or maybe he was born lacking empathy, but his brother managed to not become an abuser, at least as he tells it.
'He's not acting' Kevin Spacey's brother claims he's as 'sinister' as his characters and that he's inherited their 'rapist' father's 'twisted genes'

  39. John Doe is correct about trafficking. Been going on forever within Europe after the fall of the Iron Curtain. Boys and girls from Eastern Europe were being bought for as little as a bottle of vodka back in the 1990s.

Article here exposing the horrible depths of the boy trade, hidden in the Amsterdam gay brothel/club scene, from back in 2000 (warning, not for the faint hearted ): https://www.theguardian.com/world/2000/nov/27/childprotection.uk

  41. http://variety.com/2017/biz/news/steve-mnuchin-fraud-claim-relativity-media-1201977781/ Studio was Relativity. Steve Mnuchin is John Oliver's fave, meaning that John Oliver mentions how much Mnuchin and he look alike and how "obviously attractive" Mnuchin is because of the resemblance only. Singer is the first director, Ratner, the second, Kevin Spacey the actor. James Packer is the public figure. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5040923/Brett-Ratner-partnered-James-Packer-Steve-Mnuchin.html http://deadline.com/2017/11/brett-ratner-warner-bros-sexual-harassment-allegations-ratpac-1202199182/

  42. Damn, it's like every single headlining predator in one nasty pond. These sexual predators know no party lines, despite what people want to believe. It's funny, no one ever wanted to suspect their favorite darling movie stars of being predators, and Spacey STILL has defenders all over the internet. People are desperate to rationalize his actions. But there were ALWAYS rumors about Spacey. If you guys dig up "the List", that old list of gossip and rumors about celebs, next to Spacey, right after they say "Way in the closet, behind your sneakers, that's where Kevin is hiding" they also say, "Likes his men young, real young". It was an open secret.

And Spacey's acting never moved me, ever. I saw American Beauty and found the film, and him, to be pretentious.

    ReplyDelete
  43. pretentious is a spot-on description of spacey's acting, dumdumpop! smug, smarmy, full of himself in a way that was too over-the-top for the characters.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I liked American Beauty in spite of Kevin Spacey. Even in that movie Spacey played a pedophile. Remember that his character was obsessed with his teenage daughter's best friend and wanted to have sex with her. The more I look into Spacey the more I see clues about the real person he is in almost every role he plays.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I see some writer named Gay Talese has stepped forward to defend Spacey and tell his accusers to just 'suck it up'. Anyone know anything about that one's predilections? Is he in the Church of Underage Fucks or just one of those old-school types who simply cannot square 'sex offender' with 'anyone I know who doesn't have horns and a tail'? Or who actually thinks sex offences are odd 'mistakes' nice men make and not a pattern of behavior?

    ReplyDelete
  46. If the last one is Packer I think it's more likely to be his Chinese gambling conections than Scito. It would be much easies for them to supply the girls and make them disappear in a far corner of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Rinky - Gay Talese is a reputable writer of non-fiction, although his career probably peaked a few decades ago. In 1981, after several years research, he published Thy Neighbor's Wife, a study of sexuality in America. It was his hands on research that was most infamous: managing a peep show in NYC's Times Square, joining swingers clubs etc. As for his Spacey comments it appears Talese, who is 85 years old, wasn't aware how many accusations had been made and was only aware of the original accusation. He characterized that as "ten minutes, ten years ago" and therefore opined that the original accuser shouldn't make a big deal out of it. Just an uninformed old man making himself look foolish.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @ Rinky, Talese used to be a reputable writer. But he is now several generations removed from both relevance and reality. He always struck me as one of those people who does shit just to be controversial, not because he actually believes in any of it. I have also always believed him to be a self-hating gay man who got married and had children just because.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @rtsew

I don't advocate violence against anyone, but I have long believed that John Oliver has the most punchable face on TV. Both he and Trevor Noah are total douchebags who trash the USA and Americans at every opportunity and call it comedy. Neither of them would dare do anything like this on TV back in the countries where they are from.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I second that. John Oliver annoys me. Trevor Noah is just not funny. I used to really like Stewart and Colbert in the early 00’s daily show, now they just come off as sellouts, and smug. John Oliver has an ed sheeran level of a punchable face.
