    Dirty, underhanded tactics will backfire. She will use the horrible incident with her family to justify her claims. The whole thing will backfire and he will be awarded joint custody.     Or he abused her as the police report states and that is why the restraining order was issued. Even if she cheated, it doesn't justify putting his hands on her.
