This permanent A list singer/musician who had his biggest days five decades ago is close to death. He doesn't even have the energy any longer to get himself ready like he used to. I wish everyone today knew what a fun and amazing guy he is. Goodness he was the life of any party you invited him to.
Little Richard

Little Richard
He seemed like he was having a good time anytime I saw him performing on TV. God bless him.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that, he's truly one of a kind! He managed to stay relevant for 5 decades. I hope his passing is peaceful.

ReplyDeleteThat's so sad. What a major influence that guy was. He was the source of the truly wild grit and edge in rock and roll. Everybody copied Little Richard. And those after the 2nd generation rockers also copied him, most with no clue
ReplyDeleteFigured as much. Didn't he denounce his gayness again recently? Worried about getting into heaven.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I thought so too. It seemed so strange.
DeleteI always wondered if he was as fun, happy and lively as he came across while performing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this.
Like many other artists of his day, he didn't get the credit he deserved.
ReplyDeleteWhen I met him back in the early 80's, he was one of the nicest entertainers toward his fans.
ReplyDeleteSad to hear he's not doing so well.
Him and Chuck Berry are my Kings of Rock n Roll.. well one's a queen so what.
ReplyDelete💙
ReplyDeleteOh no, not another legend :'(
ReplyDeleteThe true king of rock n' roll.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great entertainer and an even nicer guy. So grateful he has been here for this long. Hope he is still having fun...
