ReplyDeleteIf he's supposed to be getting help for being sexually compulsive, behavior that has destroyed his career, then this continued behavior while he is supposed to be under treatment is undermining that.

ReplyDeleteI don't personally believe in "sex addiction" and neither do most legit psychologists. So it doesn't matter to me whether he continues to get laid while he's in "treatment" or not because "treatment" is bogus.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, if sex addiction were actually real, the only way to overcome any addiction is a sincere desire to change. These men are in "treatment" as a PR move because they got caught. Hands up anyone who believes they really are remorseful.
ReplyDeleteCompulsive behavior is compulsive behavior, whether you want to call it OCD or sex addiction. But compulsive behavior is a real disorder and can be treated.

ReplyDeleteThe point of the blind was not whether he forced himself on someone, in this case he didn't. The point was that he is supposedly seeking treatment, (which would help him look better in any case brought against him) and yet he is still engaging in behavior that undermines the treatment he is supposed to be getting.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure if he is getting treatment because of his sexual behaviors, one of the requirements of the program is going to be that he refrain from sex while he is in the program.
Which just underscores that he doesn't give a shit about the treatment. Besides, who actually diagnosed him with a compulsive behavior? Maybe he's just an asshole.

If he were a poor person of color in America he'd be in jail with no bail , accused of rape and attempted child molestation, waiting for a poorly trained barely competent public defender to defend him in court. But he's got money so he's buying hookers in "rehab ". Isn't that just fab?

He's probably enjoying his nice spa vacation making cookies and other crafts biding enough time to make him look better in the eyes of whoever gives a shit about him as an actor or as a man.
