Blind Item #6

Speaking of drugs, this former A+ list athlete who is permanently A list is probably glad there is no drug testing for him right now. He is so pumped full of HGH and steroids, not to mention an assortment of opioids, that I am not sure how he is going to play.

    1. He’s returning to golf I believe

  2. Will not help. Everyone knows that his back and knees are beyond repair. SEAL training and the added muscle mass he put on to generate more torque in his stroke done fucked him up.

  3. As long as he’s not careening by himself down Fla highways
    I really don’t care

  4. so much of the game of golf is mental. he looks like a mental mess lately so i don't see how he can hope to play as well as he used to.

  5. Last I heard, he can barely walk without discomfort. He ruined his back for golf with roids, overtraining, and surgeries. He has tons of money, and he could retire and keep endorsing products for good money for the rest of his life -- if he doesn't completely destroy his reputation by running into a bus full of kids next time he spaces out driving.

Tiger's an interesting cat (pardon the pun). Everyone assumes he's a badass alpha athlete because of the fist pumping and his dominance in the sport, but he's not really that guy. He's a very different guy with a lot of insecurities, stuck into that persona by fame and fortune, and he's never really fit it.

  6. Tiger Woods.
I called this twenty years ago when he won the Masters the first time....he blew up too big too fast and that almost never ends well in any kind of showbiz, sports or otherwise.
I hope he can turn it around, but at this point I seriously doubt he can. He'll be dead by 45 if he doesn't.

  7. Tiger is a pill-popping mess, and has been for a long time now. He had problems w/ his pill popping dating back to when he was married to Elin. After all the hell he's been through, no way has the pill-mill stopped. I'm actually surprised he's not worse - unless he is and his PR people are keeping him propped up.

  8. I remember when Tiger was King Of The World. How the mighty have fallen!

  9. There are a lot of issues with this blind being Tiger. I know pro golf well and this year the PGA added blood testing to assure HGH was detected. On top of that, it's random and you don't have to be at the tournament to be tested.

Tiger's 1st event back is his named event and it's an invitational with a tiny field, so it makes sense that they'd say he could "get away" with roids/opiates. But clearly someone tipping of Enty doesn't know much about golf's processes.

Not saying they're wrong. Just saying there are issues.

  10. I wonder if there are exceptions for taking banned substances in cases of approved medical use.

  11. that's my guess, ringoskater. there are for sure exceptions for opioids and corticosteroids.

  12. Which brings to mind an interesting question: Would you sign up for success and wealth like Tiger Woods have if you knew it meant being a physical wreck in frequent pain when it was all over?

  13. I'm going for something different - how about A-Rod? Isn't he trying to be a gym owner or something? And trying to stay relevant so that J-Lo won't out shine him?

  16. Well, as a Houston Texans fan I was all in on Brian Cushing.
    But yeah... Tiger works.

  17. It is odd in golf. Anti-weed, anti-srteroid, but mostly anti beta-blockers. Hate weed as anti-corporate, but hate beta-blockers or anything that calms nervous putting, and the immortal yips. Tiger's body failed, and might be repaired, but shucking the yips is his biggest obstacle. Also, Tiger, was the first to push for drug testing in his prime, pre scandals and surgeries.

  18. Could this be Rafael Nadal? He's injured right now.

  19. If Woods was in fact "full of roids" you could see it in his face. Look at the difference between young Barry Bonds and late career Bonds. His forehead expanded into beach ball size. Woods just looks like a middle aged dude with thinning hair.
