Blind Item #2

This foreign born A list singer who, despite a fairly short career is probably permanent A list at this point wants nothing more than to sit around and do nothing. Literally watch television and drink wine with some occasional shopping. At this point even if you offered her $100M a year she won't go play every night for a few months straight and would absolutely hate having to meet fans after. She loathes that and it is a very big requirement of a recent offer.

  1. Absolutely agree its Adele. She's used several illness excuses lately to shorten her tours. Maybe it's "burn out". Let her enjoy what she worked hard for. Gaga doesn't want to tour either.

  2. why don't promoters make the touring process easier on artists? i can see 3 nights in a row at the same venue, but then give them a few days or a week off between cities. what difference would it make to the promoters or fans? scarcity increases demand, besides.

  3. Because the promoters are about making money and nothing else.

  4. I agree, it's Adele.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of her music, but what a voice!
I'd buy anything of her belting out some blues and jazz.

  5. It is nuts what is required of you on a tour I am with Adele on this.

  6. I kind of see her point. Then again, it's better to do these things while you're young. You don't want to end up like Mariah. Also, I hope she is investing her money very well.

  7. I quite like Adele. It's naive to think she's as nice and without artifice as she appears. But she seems to be determined to have as normal and honest life as you can at the summit of the music business.

Plus if she doesn't have a life outside of touring, she'll have no energy or inspiration for the next album!

  8. These days the money in that industry is made touring... and it gets old after awhile no matter how much you love it. Knowing you 'need' to do it probably takes some of the shine away, too. Unless you get a whopping endorsement deal, your for a while, be smart with the money, and bow out is the name of the game. I have to think this is why Luke Bryan agreed to idol. He makes way more money touring, but it's got to be getting old. Maybe he's hoping it will open other doors. Idk

  9. adele should take the time off to get healthy for her son. both her and her husband are obese.

  10. Not your problem, cowboy, so how about just STFU.

  11. Good for you, Cee Kay! If you're not somebody's doctor or (maybe) mother, why would you be concerned about his or her weight?

  12. 107 concerts in ten months of touring plus all the weeks of preparation plus all the days of travel. If she values the voice that made her rich, taking the time off to recharge is a very good idea. Personally, a life of doing nothing but watching TV and drinking wine sounds fabulous to me!

  13. Bulls*** touring is a part of the music industry, plenty of acts do 100+ gigs a year and have done for decades. Trouble is adele came from a fame school and got big very quickly. Now she can sit on her arse and spend her money and ignore her fans. Basically the george michael syndrome - ' i've made all this money and have all this fame and now i can just kick back and do jacks***'. Being a traveling troubadour is a basic part of being a musical performer. You don't see the stones not touring forever do you?
