Blind Item #13

Going back to the movie in #12 for a minute, one of the actors in it almost died multiple times. The actor in question is a former A lister and he must be spraying Windex on himself 24/7 to be staying alive. There was some issue with some meds he was supposed to take and some herbal supplements he replaced them with against doctor's orders. Seriously, he is lucky to be alive.

  3. I saw it- it was OK. Anyone else notice Kilmer's voice??? Looked and sounded like it was dubbed. Either his throat cancer drastically changed his voice or someone else's was dubbed.

  4. Man, Val Kilmer was SO FINE in THE DOORS. I love that movie so much. He channeled Jim big time. I feel bad for Val.

A religion with no medicine, ugh. It won't end up well. Very sad.

  5. being raised by a christian science effs with your head for life. my mother is a christian scientist but i was raised congregational since my father hated it...he'd lost a relative to it/no medical treatment. you think jews and catholics feel chronic guilt? try living with the message that you're responsible for everything that happens to you -- that everything is a result of your thinking. i got mono as a teen and my mother was furious for the summer-long duration. not because i'd been kissing boys but because i didn't get better from her prayers. my heart goes out to val kilmer. he's effed up, but it's not his fault, and at least he woke up and started getting treatment finally.

  8. Val Kilmer is an asshole. I consider this karma for all the nonsense he put the cast and crew through when he worked on The Island of Dr. Moreau
