Blind Item #1 - Himmmm

Harvey is not the only one having trouble this week. The alliterate director who sounds like a musician is having some of his past on set accusations and settlements reviewed by in house counsel at a studio. Also, this action making producer who I feel was biggest in the 80's is sweating it because his preferred studio is merging with another company. The producer paid ten settlements in the past twenty years and there are dozens that are out there waiting for people to talk.

  4. I hope this marks the end of casting couches. I want to see what happens in Hollywood when directors can't get away with pressuring sex for roles.

  5. Michael Mann the director
    Bruckheiner the producer

  6. Loved the don simpson book. So jerry was just more discrete about his creeping than don then? Just like bob W then.

  7. Steven Soderberg for the director.

  8. Have checked out all their faces not being familiar with them. They without exception all have features only their Mothers could love. I hope they are all quaking in their boots now.

  12. Meagan, I’m with you. I keep hoping that every last one of them is exposed. It’s sad how all of Hollywood knows, but are too busy with fame &fortune to care. Hollywood’s hipocracy with be their downfal.

On a sidenote, I’m loving the new format. I gave up reading awhile back because it crashed constantly. This upgrade is fabulous. In the words of the great George Costanza: I’m back baby! Nice to see Himmm is back too

  13. Why thank you kitty. And bear. It's just like a forest full of wildland friends in here huh? I'm not a furry freak, I just dress like the San Diego chicken for the kids. Really. That's the only reason. Not that there's anything wrong with being a furry I guess. As long as you and your co-furriers are all consenting...uhhh...faux-animals?

But yes, agreed. When it rains it pours and I don't think some old producers and actors in town have umbrellas big enough to protect them from the shit storm about the rain down upon them. Thankfully.

  15. Spielberg has the power to stop any allegations up to multiple murder.
Cameron Crowe can't get employed to direct a Wendy's commercial at this point.

  23. I'm thinking Tommy Tune for the alliterate who sounds like a musician, LOL...tho I didn't know he had a reputation for bad behavior.

  24. This has so got to be Cameron Crowe and Jerry Bruckheimer.....tho yes, Bryan Singer’s Star has got to crash soon.....How he has escaped yet I’m not quite clear! But yes I’m curious to to see if things are finally coming out .....if the Nickelodeon pedophile will finally get publicly named.

  25. Probably a lot of people in the industry right now scrambling for cover. Good time to be an attorney or legal investigator. Bad time to be a lecherous perv with a documented history of bad/criminal behavior. Back in the early 1990's a huge coke bust took place in Pacific Palisades and one in Malibu, and allegedly many industry names were implicated - but never arrested (back when Anthony Pellicano, Mike Ovitz, Irving Azoff, etc. could spike stories and had discreet lawyers on speed dial). The saying was that "you could hear toilets being flushed all over town" due to paranoia. I imagine there's quite a bit of that paranoia and clean-up going on now - not over drugs, but other bad actions.
