Today's Blind Items - Mr X Old Hollywood
#2 - They were the leading acting couple on Broadway and even did a couple of movies (they only appeared in one movie together). Heck, they even have (or did have) a theater named after them, but in their personal lives they played the biggest role of all: a married couple. Yes they were both gay and in a "lavender marriage". If you go visit their lavish Midwest estate, which they used as a vacation home/trysting spot and photo op locale, don't even bother to ask about their gay double lives because the tour guide will pull you aside and tell you to shut up.
#3 - If you're an old movie buff, you'd definitely know who this character actress is. She had a unique name and had a southern drawl to her voice. Before she got started in showbiz, she appeared in a stag film where she was pretty much naked.

1)Peter Sellers?
2)Jessica Tandy Hume Cronyn
3)Mae West?
#2 is Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontaine this is a repeat BI
I know Bankhead's family was loaded, but could it be her anyway for 3?
Omg duh lol! Of course it is.... and I remember that blinders revealed last reveal day I think?
#3 Beulah Bondi?
Tricia I know it was revealed very recently maybe on reveal day
I'm guessing Ava Gardner as #3.
Jaysus, how many times do we have to recycle the Jessica Tandy/Hume Cronyn "blind" item?
Not Tandy-Cronyn, but Lunt-Fontainne as @sandybrook says. Lavish MIDWEST estate.
#3 would be Tallulah Bankhead, the Madonna of her day.
I don't get how a sitcom would premiere long after he passed away yet it's what he's most remembered for?
what is the sitcom associated with peter sellers? i don't know of one.
I think the translation for #1 is that we all mis-guessed and thought the answer was a character actor. In fact it was an Oscar winner who starred in the TV show long after the character actor had died.
Paul Muni is best remembered for his movies, not for that comment by Hawkeye. Sounds to me like the subject was a regular on a 1980s show. Mickey Rooney was the first one I thought of. He could have been the Oscar winner (Academy Juvenile Award, 1939) who was the first to play a character in a series of films (Andy Hardy), but that 80s sitcom he did with Dana Carvey and Nathan Lane (One of the Boys) was short-lived, and he's not more remembered for it than for his movies (in fact, no one remembers it at all), so I doubt it's him. But I'm sure it's not Paul Muni.
Clifton Webb for #1, he was the first Mr. Belvidere.
Cassotto got it. Clifton Webb.
I am wrong, Cassotto nailed it!
Very nice work, Cassotto!
Clifton Webb was not an Oscar winner, though; nominated three times but no win.
Clifton Webb died in 1966 and he has no TV credits.
Is #1 William Hickey?
