The music business has turned a new kind of sketchy. First, we had the rigged streams and now there is a widespread fake sales epidemic. One label has learned how to rig the ballot box so to speak and is making it look like their song is number one when it is nowhere close.
TayTay is #1 many people say her sales are b.s. so her label?
ReplyDeleteUniversal Records?
ReplyDeleteBig Machine Records is Tay Tay's record label
ReplyDelete"Big Machine is based on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee, and is distributed by Universal Music Group (UMG"
Billboard announced just today that Cardi B's Bodak Yellow (Money Moves) had moved into the #1 spot.

ReplyDeleteTaylor swift don’t know anyone that likes her song. But bodak yellow is the song of the summer
ReplyDeleteyou guys are saying it's taylor, but thats definitely not her, the general public loves her songs and the fans help a lot with sales and streams, so maybe cardi B...
ReplyDeleteUh,no we don't.
DeleteFFS.
ReplyDeleteTaylor's song is catchy, while that Cardi B song is pure trash. Putrid, smelly, rat-infested trash. It made my ears bleed.
ReplyDeleteThat your a what?
DeleteTaylors song sucks.
DeleteAnd Taylor Swift ain't.
DeleteBoth of them Taylor and Cardi, even though the blind said one label.
ReplyDeleteBodak Yellow literally sucks
ReplyDeleteSwift sells records by the truck load and has done for a decade so doesn't need to juice her stats, her worldwide sales are comparable to the US at the moment. Cardi b (who i love) does need the promo, however. BTW you can't juice tour ticket sales without people noticing(groupon)and i'll bet swift will sell out stadiums in minutes at full price next year.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter how big their star power is. If they don't fake their stats every now and then the public will know how unpopular they can be. It's all about a strong PR team. Look at Drake
