I was having trouble sleeping so I went to a sleep counselor. He recommended I try sleeping on the very edge of the bed. He said it would help me drop off.
I love the Casper pillow sold at Target - it's actually a pillow in a pillow design, with the inner pillow providing support, while the outer pillow is fluffy. They are on the expensive side ($55), but so worth it.
2 down pillows under my head and to hug, 6 tempurpedic pillows around me for coziness/support. (though i'm no longer pregnancy-size, i got addicted to pregnancy body pillows.)
Four, sometimes five. The fifth one is a cool antique that my grandma made for my dad. It's about 50 years old, the size and thickness of a couch cushion, filled with down and covered in red paisley corduroy.
You only need one when you have the best sleeping pillow invented: the buckwheat pillow. Heavy, absorbs heat, can be molded to the head, can add aromatics like lavender. Marvelous. Just Marvelous.
4 2 on each half of the bed.

ReplyDeletePi, Is that an irrational number of pillows?
ReplyDeleteTwo, but I usually just take one and fold it over.

ReplyDeleteWhat a strange question.
How many pillows in my house?
I have no idea. I'll ask my wife.

ReplyDelete3: one under my head, another under my leg and another under my arm. I'm a side sleeper.

ReplyDeleteP.S. Casper (thx @Salaam) will be my next "pillow" project...
If they're the ones I am thinking of, they're expensive but so worth it, especially if you can get a decent coupon, like 40% off.
