Mr. X Blind Item #1
It's a sad day when this east coast newspaper kisses the ass of that sleazy cult and tries to pit two ex celebrity members of the cult against each other. The singer/celeb spawn and that sitcom actress/reality star haven't been that close of friends over the years. Due to events in their personal lives as of late they are set on taking the cult down. I wonder if the singer and her family will appear on the reality show of that actress? I don't known, but I won't be surprised if they do in the future.
Lisa Marie Pressley and Leah Remini
ReplyDeleteLisa Marie Presley and Leah Remini?
ReplyDeleteAnd the new York Post
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first season of this show. It's back on the air now and I need to catch up.
ReplyDeleteThe NY Post story:

after I watched Going Clear.....I had no words.
ReplyDeleteI hope $cio is destroyed and the IRS grows some balls and yanks their tax exempt status.
I hope she does. The more people that come out of the woodwork to air their grievances, the better. I wonder if Priscilla is still in the cult? Leah's show is certainly eye opening. What a horrid group the $cio folks are.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people join scio? I have read articles and news about it for several years, and I still do not get what are the advantages.
ReplyDeleteI mean, if you are a Catholic, you will suffer a lot but your reward is being in Heaven after you die; if you are a muslim, the same but with virgins (allegedly human); if you believe in those reincarnation religions, you go to some paradise.
If you join scio, you lose money in this life, and then you die. No reward.
Sounds like whoever wrote the article is a $cio
ReplyDeleteI thought lisa maire and leanne when i read this
ReplyDeleteKermit, thank you for that succinct appraisal!
ReplyDeleteNo, Scios believe in multiple lives too. But mainly, they believe they're doing their part to clear the planet of hatred (and stupidity, apparently), and that's certainly appealing, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThem freaks are scary. Leah is a brave woman. I'd be looking over my shoulder and hiring extra security no one is more dangerous than a zealot and their religion.
ReplyDeleteLisa Marie left the cult but since she has been having substance abuse/child custody battle...she could have ran back. I do remember she hinted about evilness that she was dealing with. Her 1st hubby is a big shot with Scientology .
ReplyDeleteBut they don't do any of those things. Its a scam by a science fiction writer to get rich. He said so himself
ReplyDeleteBroke entertainers living LA go to the church for resources. They offer free acting classes and other things to help people in entertainment. Also- because if the big names attached to the church- they lure people in with promises to help them get work. Times get tough and sometimes entertainers gotta do what they gotta do to help them make it.
