This former A+ list singer who would like to be doing anything other than touring this year is trying to get pregnant so she will have an out and have her insurance kick in to pay for the cancellation of the tour.
Lady GaGa
You can't sing when your pregnant?
ReplyDeletewhen you're pregnant. Duh.
ReplyDeletenot if you have a doctor on your payroll who'll say you have to be on bed rest.
ReplyDeleteI've heard that some producers don't want to record a pregnant singer (assuming she has actual talent), because the voice can sound different when pregnant. Probably has more to do with liability for the pregnancy going okay, rather than the music tour not going okay. Accidents can happen on tour, especially if you are showing and trying to dance or do anything other than stand and sign. Haven't been to a GaGa show, but except maybe for Adele, I don't think that anyone stands and sings anymore. And even if you don't do much, there are also tons of costume changes. Plus the "stress" of touring. All of which could be arguments for why it's not the greatest Idea for the pregnant person to be "on tour."
ReplyDeletePlease don't let her go into more acting!
ReplyDeleteSmart move!
ReplyDeleteThat's not nice if people have already purchased tickets.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure a Gaga show is more than her just standing there singing. And in this case, it's not about what she is or isn't able to do, it's what clauses are in her insurance policy that would allow her to cancel the tour and get paid.
ReplyDeleteshe really shouldnt have a baby - she might eat it
ReplyDeleteGaga flys all over the crowd when she performs on a harness. She's pretty animated.
ReplyDeleteYou can't fly after the first trimester, can you? And I assume it has to be complicated to fully expand the diaphragm at certain point of the pregnancy, making impossible to sing professionally.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, as Brian mentioned, "it’s not about what she is or isn’t able to do, it’s what clauses are in her insurance policy that would allow her to cancel the tour and get paid."
You can fly when pregnant. It is recommended that you get cleared by your ob if you choose to fly during the 3rd trimester. particularly if you are high risk.
ReplyDeleteSo much for her loving her "monsters"
ReplyDeleteJeez, she's really fallen from grace, hasn't she? I feel bad for her, I think she's more socially inept than mean or selfish. Just a bit of a loner who struggles to fit in.
ReplyDeleteThat's because Adele can actually sing and doesn't need a million gimmicks to put on an amazing show:
