Blind Item #5
Apparently the hometown newspaper of this recently deceased singer has decided what team it is supporting and it is the team of the widow rather than reality. Any views opposing the widow in the comments are being scrubbed.

Chris Cornell and the Seattle Times
ReplyDeletecornell
ReplyDeleteseattle times
what a disgrace...
Of course Cornell and the Seattle Times. When will the media wake up to this?
ReplyDeletePlease continue to investigate, we are several who want to know the truth.
ReplyDeleteI imagine that was a LOT of scrubbing.
ReplyDeleteBring it Seattle --
Show Icky Vicky who you are!
They threw their journalistic integrity out the window years ago.
ReplyDeleteGlen Campbell
ReplyDeleteChris Cornell, obviously.
ReplyDeletePlease Enty spill ANY tea you have on the "grieving widow:, we need any help we can get to find the truth.
Seattle Times...
ReplyDeleteWidow Cornell.....
I know because my comments got scrubbed. But there are many screen shots of the comments
They are also blocking long time fans from Chris's social media accounts.
ReplyDeleteWe should get The Stranger to do some digging!
ReplyDeleteWhat needs to happen is that more people need to stop the widow in her tracks with her fake "relapsed addict" story. His toxicology report was clean. She needs to buck up and start telling the truth of what really happened with that phone call. She's the last one to talk to him, it's his blood on her hands.
ReplyDeleteYakkity Clare, Vicky and Yia Yia busy deleting the truth and blocking fans from CC's social medias. No need to waste your time. The truth is already out there!!! BTW...VK and Yia Yia...what great examples you set for CC's kids!. NOT!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are blocking people on twitter, Instagram and FB. She shouldn't be posting from his accounts. It's morbid.
ReplyDeleteHow do you live with yourself, Seattle Times? A local legend has passed and you write a puff piece in support of the widow? Shame on you for spitting on your own people.
ReplyDeleteChris Cornell's murderer, his widow
ReplyDeleteClimate change = Seattle mostly underwater in 2100. Good luck, Seattle!
ReplyDeleteI think the point of this blind item is that the media are awake to the truth/reality, but chose to take the more profitable side.
ReplyDeleteIt's an attention grab, sadly. She and her mother think they are important. But they're not. It was Chris who always was. They are nobody.
ReplyDeleteThe more profitable side would be to expose the truth.
ReplyDeleteAnd double shame on the shill hack Nicole Brodeur who "wrote" that factually incorrect unresearched piece of tripe.
ReplyDelete+1. I think they are just too stupid and lazy to do any investigating. The truth is quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteWhat I gathered from Nicole Brouder's article, was that Vicky e-mailed her, and they might have talked over the phone. Also, when I first read the article on Weds, you could
ReplyDeletecomment, and boy, were hometown people commenting, and 90% of it was against
Vicki and what she was saying. A couple of comments mentioned she had no right to talk due to separation and/or divorce. Checked the article today and there was no place to comment, and all comments were removed.
As to the article itself, I found it annoying about the "statute in Seattle" BS. If his hometown was important why not scatter his ashes on the beaches and trails he loved so much? They could've split the ashes up and let the family in Seattle scatter some, and still have some for that tacky Hollywood cemetery. Plus all that talk about the foundation and donations. Show me the money! How much did they give vs. how much they raised? The whole foundation still sounds like a front for Vicky and Linda to maintain their lifestyles, and throw a few dollars to charity for tax and publicity purposes.
Also, it feels like Vicky is already pimping their daughter Toni out to be the next big money maker. I hope the Today show singing was a one-off thing, but I can easily see Vicky training her to be a Miley, Demi, or Selena. I strongly believe that is not something Chris would've wanted for his kids
He already did, before his death. Sad.
ReplyDeleteWell I really wish the truth would be told on the divorce/separation rumors so it can be put to bed. Speculating isn't the answer and it's really unfair to Chris. I mean it happens to many, for many reasons and usually both parties have fault! VK isn't liked sadly because of her ever changing narratives that started immediately upon his death! I wish she'd realize that being honest is all anybody is asking of her. Im sure his fans would have WAY more respect and compassion for her if she just told the truth once and for all and stopped all the spinning! Maybe it's not for us to know but I pray he's resting easy, his legacy doesn't deserve all this craziness!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how big the paper is but if they were threatened by the VK camp could they afford a legal battle? Just a thought not that it helps! Ugh
ReplyDeleteI for one would respect her for being truthful vs the transparent spinning! She's sure not gaining sympathy this way.
ReplyDeleteI don't fault her for speaking publicly in general, but if she was going to speak she damn well should have been truthful! Her duty as his widow is to uphold Chris's legacy not spin a new one! Speak the same truths as known from him in countless interviews, speak honestly painful or not and with the same raw integrity he did while alive. If she couldn't handle that or it wasn't flattering to her per se then she should have maintained her silence! Nobody expects a grieving widow to blast social media or have People Magazine over when losing your loved one so tragically as she did. She has not only failed Chris her husband but his kids, his family his band mates and his fans!
ReplyDeleteIf Enty would only reveal a few blinds ah? Sure would answer some of our questions I think! Ugh at least name the GF so we know she's real maybe???
ReplyDeleteUnless threatened by a widow supposedly inheriting 60 mil? Maybe they can't fight her big time atty's? Grrr maddening.
ReplyDeleteSeattle Times covering Chris Cornell scrubbing fan comments because they were so negative about VK the widow! Enty please dish some positive truth for Chris Cornell so grieving fans can know the truth on the state of their relationship. Clearly things were off by VK's numerous posts! Do another reveal, do a blind leading us closer to the truth maybe or more clearly revealing the tall blonde girlfriend just something so we know he had love or some happiness ????? It would be good karma for you....... ??
