Blind Item #4

About once every four or five years, this A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner brings up a well worn tale of what it was like to grow up in her town. Full of life struggles and bullying. The thing is though, it is all one big lie.

Father was abusive before disappearing out of her life for good, plus Cleveland. Worked in a department store moved to NY as an adult lived in a homeless shelter for awhile.

  5. I'm in Cleveland, what about it? You idiots act like the whole city is a ghetto, couldn't further from the truth.

It ain't paradise either chief. That's why so many people from Cleveland and Toledo moved where I live now. More than any other city in this country except maybe Pittsburgh.

I grew up in suburban Cleveland and it WAS paradise. Google Pepper Pike and you'll see. Wide open spaces, no crime, excellent schools, etc. What her family life was like is one thing but living in Cleveland is not problematic per se.

Apparently her HS contemporaries have heard enough of her latest claims and are out on FB trying to debunk them. Supposedly she was popular, a cheerleader, and tied for prom queen. She's been using the bullying narrative for years, however, it doesn't mean she wasn't harassed. She's just not credible now even if she came out and named the guy who made her deaf in one ear, no one would believe her. Her PR people should tell her to put it in her autobiography. I wanna know about the ear thing.

Ok I googled Pepper Pike and it's close to Cleveland but not Cleveland. it looks very pretty and rural and quiet. I wouldn't mind living there, I doubt the people who moved here from Cleveland live in Pepper Pike. Riverdale is a neighborhood in Bronx NY, it's in the same borough as the South Bronx, Google both. Like night and day and only about 6 or 7 miles apart--Riverdale is near the suburb of Westchester, the South Bronx is near the hellhole of upper Manhattan, which includes Washington Heights, Inwood and Ft. George, not especially quaint places to live. Although at one time they all were.

Halle Berry was a gorgeous cheerleader and prom queen. Nothing pisses me off like ppl lying about being targeted or bullied. Also, Berry has a violent temper (like all her exes..)

It's just idiotic to put "Grew up in Cleveland..." like that was supposed to be a cause of her issues. You've probably never even been there.
