Blind Item #10

This foreign born actress has a Tony and a Grammy. She would be headed for an Oscar too if she had not been cut off at the knees by this permanent A+ list singer who is desperate for an Oscar. It really sucks what she did to the foreign born actress.

Just won a Daytime Emmy so she is an Oscar shy of being an EGOT winner

Heather Headley, who originated the role of "Nala" on Broadway.

She won the Grammy for a 2010 Gospel album. Won the tony for her role in "Aida" on Broadway.

Mary J. Blige (Mudbound, predicted Best Supporting Actress nomination) would be the singer but can't figure out the grammy and tony winning foreign born actress

ok, I can see Heather Headley as the foreign born, it must have happened during casting since all of the announcements of Netflix committing to producing Mudbound list Mary in the role.

Don't see how this blind is surprising since competition for decent roles is probably cutthroat in general. Plus Mary has name recognition.

  12. Nothing. This person seems to have a hard on for Bey and many other celebs. Their either gay or drug addicts

  13. I suppose this is that cynthia and beyonce thing again. People will believe anything negative about bey. If he did something to cynthia, then i wonder why she took up for her on many occassions. Yall need to find a better hobby besides hating on celebs

  17. If you and Enty think Bey is permanent A list, you're both no more than 12 years old.

  18. Guess you can join that person up there in traffic. You can irrationally hate her all you want but she is A list and its gonna be permanent. I SAID WHAT I SAID!

Etta is the real deal and does not have to jump around half naked. She is the most beautiful female alive with a basic voice and smooth moves

    She is Beyoncé. Sorry.

This happened to Julie Andrews when she was first starting out. She was the role of Eliza Doolittle on Broadway, and then the movie came out. Even though Julie was better and had an amazing voice, they hired Audrey Hepburn, who couldn't carry a tune. They had to do voice overs for her. They went with the big name actress at the time. Julie got screwed. Then Mary Poppins came out, Julie was hired and became a star.
Beyonce's voice is nothing compared to Heather's. Beyonce is only getting the part because she's more popular.

  29. What is it about Beyonce that makes insecure middle aged white women lose their minds??? This comment section is incredibly sad. The woman has been making hits for 20+ years. She's the definition of Permanent A+ list. Saying otherwise makes you look sad and delusional.

  30. Also, that Lion King rumor was started by a fanpage on twitter. A very unreliable one at that. So take these rumors with a grain of salt.

Or honey don't flatter yourself with your on-trend 'white women' bull. I'm a latino gay man and I think she's a had-been who had mediocre talent, from the get go.

You are the sad one if you think only 'middle aged white women' hate that imbecile.
Most people younger than 30 barely even know her.
I used to date a guy who would describe her dancing as 'spazing' out. Everytime she was on tv (15 years ago, we were 23) he'd go 'there's the screeching-shite-blob, spazing out again' and change the channel.
My husband also thinks she's crap, as does my brother.

You can find someone who thinks U2 is crap, The Rolling Stones, etc. Nobody is universally lauded by everyone but that doesn't diminish their talent. Justin Bieber has legions of fans and that kid sucks ass all day. It's all quite subjective. It's fine to have your opinion of someone, but citing your husband, brother and some guy you used to date who probably was no Bob Fosse his damn self doesn't stop her or anyone else from selling out arenas.
