Blind Item #3 - Kindness
The wife of this A+ list country singer is known for her generosity. This latest one kind of goes above and beyond. Apparently our wife wore a couture gown to an award show that was about $10K. Not borrowed by the way, but bought by her. When a fan said how much they liked it and would love to wear it someday (the fan is about 7) the wife sent it to her in the mail.
I have no idea who this is, but it's freakin' adorable.
ReplyDeleteTrisha Yearwood?
ReplyDeleteI know he could say she was a singer too but maybe that makes it too easy.
ReplyDeleteBrad Paisley/Kimberly Williams

ReplyDeleteNot to be a downer but is there any way for a celebrity to ensure that her family does not auction off or sell the dress? Especially if it is for a cause the celebrity does not support? How does this work as far as taxes go? Even though the celebrity bought the dress for $10,000, surely it would be appraised at a higher value because it belonged to her? The only saving grace I can see is that she is 7 years old.
ReplyDeleteFaith Hill?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this reveal! A+ country Keith urban, Blake Shelton, Brad paisley, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan... I'm going with Luke. I heard when he did an episode of that busted Ryan seacrest show (knock knock) that his wife bought Celine purses for the lady who gave her mom a kidney.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the wife isn't famous, so not Urban, Paisley or McGraw. I'm thinking Strait or Nichols (whom I've heard straight from a fan that met him that he's super nice). Toby Keith or Alan Jackson fot too.
ReplyDeletecurrent wife of justen alden....
ReplyDeleteP.S.just kidding...
People vote down on guesses on kindness blinds??
ReplyDeleteRight? C'mon...don't make me pull this car over to get you to act right, kids!?
ReplyDeletewhat difference does it make if they sell the dress? that's not the point...nobody cares about the money...hopefully it can go towards her college. Maybe they don't even know the value of the dress.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Thomas Rhett's wife.. ?
ReplyDeletewhy the downvotes, people??
ReplyDeleteIt's only worth more if Madonna, Cher or Liz Taylor had worn it, not some barely known 'wife of a country singer'.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think, the Smithsonian will exhibit it?
Do you even know, how many 'wives of so-and-so' wear how many dresses, to how many occasions?
The only value the dress might have is in the designer's couture house name, and/or the actual event she went to, maybe.
And even then, it's still worth less than the original price tag.
Having said that, it's a sweet story.
I've spent time around Alan Jackson's wife and I seriously doubt she would do something like this.
ReplyDeleteThis is Thomas Rhett's wife, Lauren Akins. She is a nurse and does a lot of mission work in Haiti and Africa.
