This former A list talk show host/news host likes to say she quit but she was fired from her most recent job. No one watches her any longer.

    Katie Couric was dead weight and when a corporation buys another, the dead weight being carried is usually terminated.

    Thanks@David-I checked after I guessed and she quit her "world anchor" gig at Yahoo apparently... um I didn't know she even had it :(
