I think all celebrity kids should be off limits for their own safety. Something like this picture is just stupid. But pedophile is multi-syllable and probably beyond Jessica's level of comprehension.
granted, the world has gone a bit overboard in political correctness about photographs of one's child...i took adorable pics of mine naked in the tub or splash pool in the 80's that i'd probably be investigated for today. however, it's a different world and i'd never post them or even "bikini shots" of my children online lest they be used for sick purposes. i think she should be more protective of her child but suspect she may not have the intellectual capacity to understand why.
It's no different then any other kid wanting to be like their mom and posing. There's nothing wrong w the picture and you can't stop living life bc people always judge everything. The kids are out playing in the yard instead of being on the phone constantly. And yeah yeah thumbs down me. I usually get thumbs down for saying I like someone's shoes too. Big deal.
My father took photos of me naked on a bearskin rug when I was a wee one. Last week, I posted them on JDate under the Username Ruth Bader Ginsberg. I'm hoping I can reel in Mark Zuckerberg.
In reading the comments section, if you utter 'pedophelia,' you get called a pedo yourself because YOU are the only one sexualizing it. TF. I don't like to see little girls pimped out or dressed and acting with the come hither sassy look. Not cute. What the hell is wrong with people. I'm not talking about wearing lipstick, polishing nails, and walking around in moms heels. Kids mimic parents. But this tiara and toddler showcasing of children is just disturbing. I'm officially old. BTW, why do we call 23 year old Ariana a prostitot. This ain't a friendly world, teach your kids Jessica, et al.
I do not like the pose of the kid, she is like some harlot waiting for a customer, but she has probably learnt in the family. Other than that, any parent should/can have pics of their spawn like this, and (almost) nobody is a degenerate, because the sexiest thing in the pic to normal people is the bike.
It's fine. But it makes me sad to see the ubiquitous pose. I've noticed teens and young women in my own family who post photos and selfies: often the pursed lips and ALWAYS the hand on the hip. Over and over. Just a nice, natural photo is hard to find. She's starting her daughter off at a young age... fitting into this plastic, stepford image of an attractive female.
I've got no issue with the bikini. Pervs are gonna be pervy, no matter what a kid is wearing. But the pose does give me pause, although I still vividly remember my then three-year-old niece slinking out of her room wearing a feather boa, dress and heels and saying "Hey boys." She most definitely did NOT get that from her mother! Kids will be kids, and while I agree you should't feed the pedos we probably also shouldn't assume everybody is one.
First off, the little sweetie is adorable but i do have to say that her mother should be more concerned about stalkers. Perverts and weirdos. Posting that picture gives Megans list residents a cheap thrill. I never forgot how that Idaho Child rapist and killer said how he drove by the property and saw Shasta in her bathing suit!!!! This type of picture should stsy within the family not on social media
it's appropriate for normal human beings to wanna show off their lovely kids, there is nothing sexual about this girl, and only creepy pervs would get off at this image
but
this world is sadly filled with creepy pervs, JS is a famous celebrity with millions of followers, so my conclusion is: totally not appropriate , not because of the child, what she wears or how she poses, but because as grown ass mother, she should know better: world is fucked up.
My son has the same scooter, theybadjust all the way up to 12 years old. The handle bars switch to a joystick thing. She's too young for the pose... too old for the scooter... just let the kids be kids.
If she posted this on her private account for friends/family, that's one thing. To do so as a celebrity is incredibly dangerous. Just because you don't see anything wrong with the picture and think it's cute, doesn't mean that there aren't very DANGEROUS people out there that can either seek her out OR look for someone that looks similar to inflict their stemming "desires" on.

ReplyDeleteWell, the only thing I can say is:
ReplyDeleteShe did.
And, I would never -- back in the 80's & 90's when my kids were born' -- nor today.
So, I agree with @justsayin' & @sandybrook.
I agree with the others are basically saying, the pic is acceptable but better judgement should have been used when posting it
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't post it, but Jesse has never been particularly insightful. Or coherent, come to think of it. So....it could have been worse?

ReplyDeleteThis child is a little young for a scooter.
ReplyDeleteOther than that it's a little kid wearing a bathing suit and a helmet. My outrage meter is fairly low for that.
Considering all the other things inappropriate and wrong with Jessica Simpson, this is low on the list!

ReplyDeleteNO. It's bait for PEDOS. People should stop posting pics of their kids anywhere online because they can be stolen and end up on the dark web.

ReplyDeletehow do you feel about cha cha heels, dear?
ReplyDeleteI don't see what the big deal is? It's fine.

ReplyDeleteWell, it's not a straightforward answer, because:
