Actually funny to ask-just started printing them at Walgreens and they come out beautifully-very impressive service(already have like 3new framed ones displayed in a week lol)
Just the ones that have some sentimental reason to print and frame them. eg: my mom with her first Great Grandchild! OR, my daughter with her Long Stirrup Championship Ribbon on her horse, Sydney!
I pick and choose. The tourist type photos from vacations and trips are only electronic, and the special ones are printed and framed. I recently scanned in my wedding photos from the early eighties to have a large photo of us for our family room wall. OMG the hair we had!
I just printed a bunch of photos onto fabric sheets. My niece is having a baby soon and her mother, my sister, passed away a few months ago. My other sister is making my niece a memory quilt and putting pictures of the baby's Grandmother on the quilt. That way she will know her Grandmother loved her before she was even born.
Sometimes. Stuck a few in my mirror, a few years back. (Keep thinking I'll do a vision board some days, with a corke board, pins, and actual printed photos)
FYI, at least if you're in the US, if your luddite family members live near a CVS or Walgreens, you can electronically send the photos there for them. The store will print the pics, & family can pick them up in an hour (or less) after they're sent. I had printed photos ready at their local store for my in-laws, 5 states away, 45 minutes after taking them - they got the pictures before we even got home!

ReplyDeleteWe often print pictures out. We have quite a few older relatives who do not have computers or smartphones. We have to use snail mail for them.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, all online. I'll only print a photo if I want to frame it.

ReplyDeleteI only print the ones that can net me a few dollars when money is tighter than Rachel Maddow's $+#""!
