If you were to make a movie about your life, what genre would you make it?
Definitely horror
Pay-per-view
Dramedy
dark comedy...a comedy english style, witty, sarcastic, but cruel deep down
PORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It would have to be a fantasy.
Comedy.
Dramedy. And the Coen Brothers to direct it.
Foreign film from Asia with no subtitles.
Grindhouse, Robert Rodriguez directing.
Fantasy.
Noir mystery
Porn, and it would be a Shyamalanesque (sp) dream. If it was to be realistic, some boring crap like those by communist countries (tarkovski, bela tarr, the Czechs -sp-...) or boring crap by junkie artists like those by warhol.
SciFi drama, written by someone like Charlie Kaufman (a la Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)
+ 1My life is such a horror, it would be natural to film it like that.OR, Comedy of errors slapstick style!
surreal fantasy, Jean Cocteau directing...
David Lynch.
Hal Hartly. On second thought: Starting Hal Hartly, finishing with David Lynch. That would be my dream due of directors.
Woody Allen directing type film The highs and lows of life and love.
The dream level would be Wes Anderson, childhood like Mommy Dearest, little bit of Dazed and Confused, ending with me as the yuppie wife in Idiocracy.
Can you explain Twin Peaks - The Return for me, then? I love David Lynch, but even I'm at a loss trying to figure out what some of his imagery means.
Drama/Comedy with a Secret Life of Walter Mitty vibe.
Rom-Com or Dark Comedy -- John Hughes.
Comedy....of the slap stick kind.
Horror where people are held captive by icky crazy people. Sort of like 10 Cloverfield Lane.
Definitely drama.
I could make a comedy about my adult years, but my childhood was a horror story.
Westerners still need subtitles for us even when we speak English sometimes... ???
Dark tragicomedy where everybody gets-married-but-then-dies in the end...
Anime Tentacle porn
Its already been made, "Raising Arizona".
Definitely horror
