I had to send them to Ann Coulter, Cokie Roberts and Dana Bash after my sorrowful performance at our table after the Women In News luncheon at the local all you can eat Chinese Buffet. A girl sometimes can't help herself, especially with a pile of delicious boneless ribs on her plate.
I'm bad. I can't remember when I last time I sent flowers to anyone. Years ago for the wife. (She'd rather have plants!) Never for our daughter. (Why would I?) But, I did sent a card to my Mom for Mother's Day! So, I guess I'm that bad of a husband, dad, and son. Oh, well.
A long time ago I sent a girl 21 roses for her 21st birthday. That's it. Once and done.

Can't remember the last time I sent them, though. I usually show up in person.
ReplyDeleteLast spring, our younger son married, and I sent Mother's Day flowers to my DIL's mom, step-mom, and grandmas, welcoming them into our family.
