Blind Item #10
Don't believe the hype. To distract from her disaster of a personal life, this B+ list mostly movie actress from an acting family tried to share with the world a bunch of do gooder charity things she recently did. Forget all that. This is a person who should probably have let them eat cake tattooed on her body. She could give af about anyone and is only in everything for herself.
Kate Hudson?
ReplyDeleteIs she involved with the Manchester benefit?
Rooney Mara?
ReplyDeleteKate Mara I think-just was in Liberia on a relief mission
ReplyDeleteI thought of her first but she's not mostly movie and she's engaged.
ReplyDeleteI agree about her not being mostly movie, but I do think that this is supposed to be about Kate. She's been tweeting up a storm about her work with Liberian chimps, and she's playing that marine in the movie about the canine war hero that is coming out soon. I think she's trying really hard to show her involvement in promoting causes to draw more attention to the movie.
ReplyDeletethe mara sisters and kate hudson dont scream 'disaster of a personal life'....still wondering who it could be
ReplyDeleteThis is the Ho taking that Cambodian family to Disney Land with her kids for Shi's birthday
ReplyDeleteYeah, but B+ is super high for Kate. Rooney's been B+/A- in previous blinds...and she cheated on her boyfriend to go be with Joaquin Phoenix.
ReplyDeleteExcept Kate's personal life isn't a disaster. And the last line about not giving af about anyone else and only caring about herself isn't like Kate at all. She actually is a nice person who does a lot for animal rights.
ReplyDeleteAs long as Kate is promoting the "Humane Society" of the United States and it's fake "international" branch, she is hurting, not helping animals. She is definitely talented and her new movie sounds good. But she and her sister are out of touch. Billion dollar family empires and Hollywood will do that. In my opinion, famous people need to vet charities before promoting them to the public. The ones that aggressively court them with smarmy flattery are generally not the most charitable. Any tax-exempt organization that chooses to stash over $58 million in Caribbean hedge funds (it's on the HSUS tax returns) has no business begging for money to help Liberian chimps. HSUS gave Paris Hilton an award just after she donated $100,000. And dimwit Amanda Hearst is on the HSUS Board This site had a reveal about Hearst and Mark Sanchez getting caught having sex during the HSUS gala that Hearst chaired. And HSUS was the only animal organization willing (eager) to promote Michael Vick as a humane educator and worthy dog owner. I hope Kate and her sister get a clue. There are so many great animal charities out there.
ReplyDeleteRead "Putting Abusers Before Animals Is Business As Usual at the Humane Society of the United States" by Nathan Winograd and "Activism Gone Bad in Yulin" by Martyn Stewart. Any celebrity that chooses to promote HSUS/HSI needs to be educated. If this blind item is revealed to be Kate Mara, it would explain her choice of "charities."
