#1 - His movie career didn't take off like he thought it would when he quit that hit network show turned almost television show. He burned a lot of bridges and is trying his hardest to repair them but is having no luck getting himself back on the show.
#2 - This foreign born B+ list mostly television actress on a hit pay cable show saw three offers pulled today and her career is not likely to recover after being called out for being racist.
#3 - And just like I told you would happen, this foreign born former boy bander has lined himself up a beard for the next couple of months of promotion. The celebrity selected was not his first choice.
1)BJ Novack
ReplyDelete2. Sophie Turner

Styles has new beard? i guess all that money spent on promo to not even break top 20 made him desperate. Try having a decent song fella.
ReplyDeleteI thought The Office was always on NBC, Tricia? What other show could this be referring to?
ReplyDeleteAnd he seems to be doing very well writing,
Seems to be quickly finished
ReplyDelete1) Shemar Moore
ReplyDelete2)Sophie Turner
3) Harry Styles
Oh that's low rent cheap! c-list UK at best.
ReplyDeleteChris Messina for last season of Mindy Project
ReplyDeleteIt makes it easier to fake true love, the old beards are getting too obvious.
ReplyDelete+1
ReplyDelete#3 Harry Styles, but I wonder if Enty saw his ex (?) boyfriend the Lacrosse player publicly attend his concert in NYC today....
ReplyDeleteI meant the Mindy Project before it went to Netflix ( I think?)
ReplyDeletey'all still trying to sell that harry styles is gay? far from it.
ReplyDeleteSo a Limey gets blacklisted for saying a word that does not mean shit to anyone but holy-joe americans (remember Idris Elba saying that he is not AfricanLimey or whatever, just a Limey) and jamie foxx is a bigger star after saying "I kill all the white people in the movie. How great is that?"
ReplyDeletehttp://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/noel-sheppard/2012/12/10/jamie-foxx-jokes-about-killing-all-white-people-his-new-movie
Exactly. She said "what up niggaaas" playfully, nigga is used constantly in hip hop and black twitter to the point it's like man or buddy, and no race or culture gets to own a word. Stay pressed, those that think otherwise, you'll never win
ReplyDeleteI had to modify my comment because it contained the dreaded N and was in "awaiting moderation " comment limbo
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. She said “what up n****as" playfully, that word is used constantly in hip hop and black twitter to the point it’s like man or buddy, and no race or culture gets to own a word. Stay pressed, those that think otherwise, you’ll never win
1) dan stevens?
ReplyDelete2) sophie turner
3) joe Jonas?
I'm from the south. In the eighties, there was ONE black guy in our town. He worked with relatives of mine. These relatives, who I didn't believe to be racist, would call this guy the "n-word." I heard them do this one day and told them I was going to tell their wives on them for saying it right to his face. They said "He doesn't care, do you, John?" John said "doesn't bother me." I asked him why a little later and he said "You have to know when to pick your battles, I'm probably the only black guy within 100 miles of here, It's best just to go along, until your not outnumbered."
ReplyDeleteMy relative didn't think he was doing anything wrong, but he was.
Yes. The black race does get to own that word. I am assuming you are white. When used within African American culture it does mean "man or buddy." When a white person says it, even jokingly, it takes on a different meaning to black people. whether you like it or not.
The only ones pressed are idiots who defend her. Both her and joe are racist trash. And so are you for defending them.
ReplyDeleteYeah, black people own the N word. It's a measly reparation for their genocide. Get over yourself.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that story. I very much appreciate it. Yes, they own the N word but every time I walk down the street in my neighborhood and hear Dominican kids calling each other ------ I cringe! Feel the same when I hear brothers saying it. It has so much hatred behind it. These kids today don't have a clue what happened to their grandparents growing up in the South.
ReplyDeleteDownton wasn't a NETWORK show
ReplyDeletelol congrats on "owning" a word #delusional
ReplyDeletelol Phyllis congrats on "owning" a word #delusional
ReplyDeleteUsing a word doesn't make someone racist. Statements like this water down true racist actions.
ReplyDelete#2. I watched the video. Sophie T clearly said, "What's up mo fo-ers?" No racism there at all!
ReplyDelete(FWIW: I'm black and LOVE GoT.)
It takes on a different meaning to those who cry racism at everything. To decide a race "owns" a word is sad and actually insulting to said race, like they can't handle anyone else using it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. His concerts sold out ridiculously fast so I dont think mister styles is hurting.
ReplyDeleteReally?!?! Do you actually know any black people? Can they confirm they are insulted that non-African Americans don't use the n-word?
ReplyDeleteSpoken as someone who has no clue of the power of words.
Tell me exactly how is it insulting to black people? How badly are you dying to be able to use it, or culturally appropriate it? Feel like walking around in blackface, too?
OK, Mr. Culture Appropriation expert. March your ass over to the nearest African American neighborhood and have at it, son.
Be sure to film it with your phone, too. Would love to see how all the black people high-five you and carry you around on their shoulders. After all, coming from you, it wouldn't be an insult.
Yes it does. You would not say it unless you harbor those feelings of superiority over and disgust of said race.
ReplyDeleteI know it's still just your POV and sadly when you get aggressive and jump to insults and "you wanna do blackface too?" you're more in the wrong then what was originally said
ReplyDeleteMindy Kaling is in love with Bj Novak
ReplyDeleteit's on hulu, not netflix
ReplyDeletePBS is network.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how that works too! She's gained 30K followers in 2 days on IG since the article and became a Verifed account in less than 24 hours. What does he get out of this?? He doesn't need the promo and she wouldn't boost his career in any way. I guess the "straight" image for the GP.
ReplyDeleteThat is just your opinion to which you are entitled, but sadly, is still just your opinion.
ReplyDeleteNo, my remarks do not make me "more wrong than what was originally said" . Nor do they void my argument that the n-word is NOT OK for white people to say. Period. Absolutely ridiculous of you to suggest otherwise.
than (comparison) vs. then (time)
1. Dan Stevens or Patrick Dempsey?
ReplyDelete3. Harry Styles
#2. I tell you what the problem is. If Jay-Z "gives" permission to the likes of Goop to call him her Ni**a and a random black or white person hears her say it, she will be labeled a racist, or a black celeb will jump to proclaim "You don't have permission to use that word." Or another will say "It's OK with her." Why is that? You heard this all before. I don't know in what context Sophie Turner used it, I saw the video and meh. This is how kids talk to each other today, and I've heard white kids calling each other this and I'm like whaaaat.
ReplyDelete3 is Harry Styles. Jesus, does this kid ever stop bearding? Same formula each time: just caught pap pics plus Who Is (insert gf due jour) name in The Sun (X Factor mouthpiece), clothes sharing for the children on Twitter to coo over and 'coy' Instagram pics to show they're dating, using hats, tables and cookbooks.
ReplyDeleteI thought Harry was supposed to be a grown up now? Its like being plunged back into 2012.
Blind Gossip sure did.
ReplyDeleteI think its institutionalised bearding. It just gets a habitual way of life if you've done it for so long. Very sad, esp in 2017.
ReplyDeleteSofia said "what's up muthafuckaaaaa"!!
ReplyDeleteI played it a ton of times! She is NOT racist!!
Sorry- meant, Sophie
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I said that as well! She's English, so the accent can be hard to understand.
