This television actress who really wants to be a successful singer won’t be. We all love Idina but we all know she is not going to be getting her songs played on the radio until Frozen 2. This actress is the same way. She thinks her music is the bomb and honestly it is just like every other American Idol wannabe except our actress is on television already. That being said, she is doing a lot of press and if I hear one more time about how she wrote that song for her old boyfriend, I may scream. Someone should ask her what part of the “writing” she did.
Lea Michele/Cory Monteith
A lot of the pop songs being played on the radio shouldn't be on the radio. So I wouldn't say never for Lea and probably not for Edina because she's middle aged and that doesn't fly on pop radio. Ask Madge and Mimi.
ReplyDeleteShe's ALWAYS been desperate but know it's getting worse and worse! Peddling out songs and stories about her now long-dead ex is just embarrassing and trashy.
ReplyDeleteBroadway singers never really do make pop stars, they all try though, their voices are incredible because they have to sing so much and loudly in the theaters.
ReplyDeleteit's a shame idina and kristin chenoweth are too old to be in the "wicked" movie...at least they got careers out of the show. lea was a cute and of course talented in "glee" but doesn't have the charisma to be a pop star.
ReplyDeleteI always thought the whole cory hook up was p.r for the show. No he has past and people will talk about it, why not use it?
ReplyDeleteBasically because almost everyone considers Lea to be totally fake and insincere about everything she does and says.
ReplyDeleteif Lea could get a decent song, she'd get airplay. I listened to her first album, and the songs were boring. Maybe in the 1980's she could have had stadium hits with her huge voice, but to make it now, you have to have something musically unique.
ReplyDeletefor respect to a dead man? For good taste? Bc his parents told her to STOP IT?
ReplyDelete"we all love idina..." (do we ??????)
ReplyDeleteLea is trying to stay relevant long enough to get Idina's role.
ReplyDeleteNo. Not all of us do. Frozen = Just let it go already.
ReplyDeleteHer music is so bad and not even close to being something you'd hear on the radio. I used to really like her but in these recent interviews she comes across as very entitled. Super hyper and it's all "me, me me"! Annoying.
ReplyDeleteI think Lea is overrated. I'm not saying she doesn't have talent. But her range is average and her timbre is weird.
ReplyDeleteProbably I just don't like Broadway singers.
