Blind Items Revealed #3 - Kindness
April 28, 2017
Although he (foreign born A/A- list mostly movie actor with multiple Academy Award wins/nominations) is not one of my favorite people, I get two or three e-mails a month about his wife and how she is the most amazing person ever. Apparently she volunteers in multiple places to the tune of about 50-60 hours a week. No salary and you always feel that where she is that moment is the only place she wants to be. So, kudos to her.
Eddie Redmayne/Hannah Bagshawe
Guess to balance out his heinousness LOL
ReplyDeleteYeah it must be nice to have the financial security to just be a full-time volunteer. Yawn.
ReplyDeleteIn her defense, she also has the financial security to spend those hours shopping, or getting high. But she's doing something substantial, and I admire that.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding point, Elissa.

Will someone, anyone tell me what the hell is wrong with this young man? From Day 1, I, an elderly grandmother who knows her films and film actors, has thought him adorable, talented and incredibly fragile in many ways. He has a very unique face and can stand in front of a camera with no dialogue while his facial expressions say it all for him. I do wish we Americans (us Americans?) could cut him some slack for whatever sins we feel he has committed along the way. I just don't get it. I think he's fabulous. Amen.
ReplyDeleteWhat did he do wrong again? I can't keep up with the latest hate.
ReplyDeletediana, I think the "issues" some people have are that he's yet another posh British actor whose had it easy, that he's very vain about his appearance (many anecdotes), and that he's hiding the fact (?) that he's closeted. Just what I've read, don't kill the messenger. I don't know why enty dislikes him. Different topic: I like enty's kindness blinds. Good for her. Very admirable.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can gather, the biggest sin of all on CDAN is being too keen, trying hard and campaigning for Oscars. That seems to be a sin worse than murder.
ReplyDeleteI don't think any comment has ever received 36 likes ever (not even any of the ones on the 5,000+ comment threads). Glad so many people agree. ♥
ReplyDeleteSame thing with Benedict Cumberbatch.
