They made it sound manly so he would have a good story to tell, but this A list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee got injured filming a movie because he was wasted.

    manly is not a word that come to my mind when i hear "nic cage". i loved him in "valley girl" but not much since.

    He was epic in Con Air. Now?
    All crappy paycheck movies.
    Even if he OD'd tommorrow it wouldn't ruin the great career he'd have in his future.
