This A list country singer is performing in an unusual place this weekend. As part of his deal, he wanted to make sure that booze and women would be provided with no consequences.
That is only for the little people. You really don't think the rich (Muslim and non-Muslim) in Saudi Arabia don't have access to booze or anything else for that matter??
I can attest to this. When I tended bar at the restaurant attached to the Cleveland Clinic & the Saudi royal family was there for treatment, the Princes would hang in the bar and drink like fish & smoke like chimneys (smoking indoors was allowed at the time). No women. If someone 'higher' in the family chain came around the Princes would act like they just sat down at an uncleared table!
I think Toby Keith also--no consequence being that this concert is supposed to be booze and women-free, yet he wants those things provided to him: http://www.mlive.com/news/us-world/index.ssf/2017/05/toby_keith_to_play_alcohol_wom.html
1969:London: Dating Saudi Princes (there are a ton of them!) Date night at Sahara City. Lots of Champagne, Cuban cigars, Russian cigarettes. And that was for the Princes! I drank my Rum & Coke (Cuba Libre) and didn't smoke anything. God those were fun times! I was so cute then!
After 9/11 there were all kinds of stories coming out of Rochester, MN (Mayo Clinic) of Saudis drinking in the bars, hooking up with the local womenfolk.
Blake Shelton?
ReplyDeleteBlake Shelton is at Daytona Speedway Saturday night. Miranda is there Friday night.
ReplyDeleteI don't consider Kid Rock country but he's there Sunday. Another to consider is Hank Williams jr.
ReplyDeleteToby Keith will be in Saudi Arabia this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe way the blind is written makes me think you got it.
ReplyDeletethis sounds right.
ReplyDeleteBlake Shelton -no consequence meaning no one tells Gwen.
ReplyDeleteThe booze part may be a bit tough in Saudi Arabia.
ReplyDeleteOf course. Nobody ever associates country music with car racing
ReplyDelete300,000 seat outdoor stadium isn't their usual venues. But country music and car racing go together like peanut butter and jelly.

ReplyDeleteBut Toby Keith is married. Wouldn't that have been mentioned in the blind item?
ReplyDeleteIts easier for the forighners there. Just more expensive.

ReplyDeletePretty sure the fact he is married is the main reason for the blind to out him.
ReplyDeleteBut I like the Blake guess better.
ReplyDeleteWell it's not Larry Birkhead, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOUR STORIES! ♥

ReplyDeleteWouldn't Toby want more men there than women, well according to the last blind about him.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Gwen care? Oh wait, you think they are a Real couple, don't you?
ReplyDeleteNo consequences sounds like they are playing in the Middle East.
