Blind Item #8
The last time this multiple Grammy winner/nominee had a hit record was almost five years ago. Even that was not huge. A hit, but not huge. You would never know it by the way she acts on this network reality show. It is as if Mariah had returned to American Idol. The demands are never ending and she is not very nice when they are not immediately met. She believes her demands should come first before anyone else. No one will miss her after the season.
Alicia Keys
ReplyDeleteAlicia Keys or Christina
ReplyDeleteGwen Stefani leaving the Voice(or threatening to)

ReplyDeleteThis is who I'm thinking too.
ReplyDeleteGoing on the time frame, Christina fits. Both Alicia and Gwen had albums that hit #1 in 2016 and Christina hasn't even released an album since 2012.
ReplyDeleteI think Alicia wouldn't be too demanding, but that awful song Gwen did about Blake was kind of a hit, so nobody is left.
ReplyDeleteYup. She's bananas ? b-a-n-a-n-a-s
ReplyDeleteI guess this is Gwen. She seems like the kind of person who can't hear the word "no."
ReplyDeleteI never understood why the show would have a coach who's talent is mostly produced in the studio. Glad she's gone, she added nothing to the show..
Bubblegum music has had its' day, so has she.
Bubblegum will always be around. Shape of You isn't exactly a deep, meaningful, soul searching song.
ReplyDeleteI am not feeling Gwen because she also had a couple major hits with No Doubt before going off on her own as a solo artist. I think this is Alicia Keys. She's always been a Grammy contender or winner yet has never achieved superstardom. I have also always thought that the whole "all natural, peaceful" vibe she gives off is BS. Just my opinion.

ReplyDeleteAlicia Keys.
ReplyDeleteGwen had a great presence on camera. While ska had been around for some time, you didn't really hear it on top40 radio back in the 90's (at least where I was from), especially with a female singer. I remember walking into my dorm room one day and the video for I'm Just A Girl was on and I couldn't take my eyes off the TV. Between her sound, look and charisma on camera, I knew she'd be a huge star instantly.

ReplyDeleteI don't think this BI is Gwen - it says the last time this person had a hit was 5 years ago. I can't speak to how demanding she is, but Gwen had hit singles in 2014/2015 with "Baby Don't Lie" & "Used to Love You" in 2016. Her album "This Is What the Truth Feels Like" was released in March 2016 and became her first solo number-one album on the Billboard 200.
