Blind Item #8
All the answers this week to the blind items are people who have never previously been an answer to a blind in the past decade.
This horror movie was incredible. The actress who played the lead has been doing her best to take advantage of that buzz. The problem is that she is the biggest diva in the world. She got so much attention from the movie, that this barely old enough to drink actress now expects people to treat her like an A+ lister.
Madison Wolfe from The Conjuring 2?
ReplyDeleteI'd say Elle Fanning but I'm certain she's been in a blind before, besides her no horror movie actress recently seems to fit.
ReplyDeleteKika Malgahaes/The Eyes of my Mother?
ReplyDeleteNot sure of her age
She's o nly 14!
ReplyDeleteAnya Taylor-Joy
ReplyDeleteMaika Monroe from It Follows? only one i could think of.
ReplyDeleteMy guess also
ReplyDeleteYea, I think it's Maika Monroe too. She's not that great of an actress and her speaking voice is incredibly grating. She just got lucky with a great script and great direction
ReplyDeleteDing ding ding! She's also on the cover of W Mag.
ReplyDeleteYep, and I still haven't seen Split, I really want to.
ReplyDeleteYES. This one. God, she has the most pretentious voice I've ever heard. I know it's her combo of accents but jeebus. And I have a sneaking suspicion she and James McAvoy might have slept together one or multiple times, definitely pick up a vibe there.
ReplyDeleteBetween him, her, M Night Shyamalan and co, the movie discussions are the most wanky, self-congratulatory affairs they're off-putting, even though I did the film was absolutely terrific.
ATJ is English so I think it would say foreign born.
ReplyDeleteThis is Anya, but the incredible film is 'The Witch', not 'Split'.
ReplyDeleteAlison Williams for the actress. Get Out for the horror film.
