Blind Item #5

Apparently the only thing that the wife of this A++++ list athlete in his sport which is not professional in this country is not to get caught cheating and embarrass her and her family. She knows he cheats and doesn't have something that the athlete loves in a partner.

Depends on your definition of "professional", but MCGregor (boxing) or some Indy guy.

Must be either a cricket or rugby player. The US has professional soccer, boxing, an racing.

  9. Eeewww, Tricia, Wayne Rooney, he's so disgusting LOOL
But is he A++++ ?? Seriously? Wtf?

He was caught years ago boinking an old slapper prozzy in some cheap 2-dirty mattress brothel, on top of a petrol station, with like a pink neon sign in the window. Really grubby. He was in his early to mid twenties at the time and the old slag was middle aged, and horrid. There were pictures, i think even an interview. Coleen was mortified.

@marlo-Ouch-that's not the image I reckon she wants out there!! What a mess....:(
Sure there were some bevvies involved there though.
I think he is A +list to people that follow the sport, but not the answer because we have US Leagues(like the Galaxy Becks pleated for I believe).Also-I think he is straight or at least, rumors do not abound that he's not

Although Conor's girlfriend is due in a few weeks, I don't think they are married. He's been burning the night oil in Manhattan this week. Why wasn't he the Grand Marshall of the St. Paddy's Day Parade?

The US does have cricket and rugby clubs/fans just not professional ones.

I would have guessed Sachin Tendulkar, because he's about as big a Cricketer as there has ever been, but he's retired.

    1. McGregor isn't married. 2. He's an MMA fighter which is big here in the US

If someone is A++++, then EVERYONE in the entire WORLD should know who they are. I've never heard of a single one of the persons guessed today.

That's what I was thinking. I have a feeling it's someone we HAVE heard of, but Enty is using a very curious definition of the word "professional."

The BI does not say that he is A++++ for everybody, just in his sport, like Ronnie O'Sullivan, who many of you need to google in order to know who the hell he is.
Or Grigori Perelman, who is A++++ in his subject, but unknown to 99% of the living humans.

And, according to wikipedia real football is professional in the USA, so not "bad hair" Rooney.

They could mean soccer is "not professional" not in that it's not played, but not professional as it's as fake as d badly acted as wrestling and no one in the US gives a crap about it as a sport.

The MLS is a professional soccer league in anyone's book.

  28. Is Enty suggesting Conor McGregor is bisexual? Oops McGregor is engaged to be married but I sense he is not completely Straight. He got a tattoo on his chest he copied from a male Canadian model.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The blind is definitely about a male athlete who is bisexual and the wife knows. I think this could be Roger Federer he seems gay or bisexual he has a wife and kids. Tennis is not popular in the United States. Enty mentioned in a blind about a high profile gay tennis player.

Michael Phelps. Swimming is not professional here in the US, and there have been some stories/blinds in the past about his supposed preferences.

  31. Federer is a good guess.

If it's an A+++++ professional athlete in a sport that's not professional in the US, that's either cricket or rugby.

The only A++++ Rugby player would probably be an All Black, so my guess is someone like Richie McCaw.

Alternatively, someone like Sasha Tendalkar, or another cricket player.

Professional is a weird word here. It is usually a term used to describe ineligibility for collegiate level sports. Once an athlete starts competing in events that offer monetary rewards, accepts a salary position or endorsements, they are considered professional. So, Phelps would be out because there are professional meets in the US.

It should be something more like rugby, cricket, polo, etc. where it is only competed as a club on the collegiate level if at all.

This is a great guess, lots of rumors previously as you point out and 2 dozen Olympic gold medals makes you A++++ in your sport. I think you solved it.

  35. First thought David Beckham, but there's no mention of the athlete being retired.
