also a good negotiating tool in her divorce settlement... if she gives him the business (which is conveniently in his home town) she pays less alimony.
That's assuming the business is worth something. A popcorn store in the center of town? Uhhh.
She'll be paying premium rent for as long as the ex wants to be a storekeeper.
