Blind Item #11
This Instagram personality/wannabe model/former Catfish star is about 1/3 the age of this former A+ list singer who had one big hit five decades ago and has been living off the fame ever since she is now engaged to. Good luck to her being with the abusive racist. Should turn out well.
I was stuck on item #10 while two new posts piled up. Weird.
ReplyDeleteJoanna Zarate and ??
ReplyDeleteBill Cosby had a #4 in 1967.
ReplyDeleteHa! I have no idea about either.
Tony Joe White (Polk Salad Annie)
ReplyDelete50 years is a long time...practically every female celebrity is half his age.
Maybe Antionette Cuccia... but no idea who the old guy is...
ReplyDeleteA one hit wonder from 50 years back that is still A+ list? Doesn't exist seeeew...... Wait...it's prob Greg Allman? Ray Dorset from Mungo Jerry (Nazi bullshit)?
ReplyDeleteThe one hit wonder list from the 1960s (wikipedia) is pretty funny - and I remember some of it. The 50 year thing might be a stretch
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing either Tony "Knock Three Times" Orlando or Tony "Heartbeat it's a Lovebeat" DeFranco.
ReplyDeleteTony Orlando had his own show.
ReplyDeleteTony Orlando had many hits.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea who this could be. but Arthur Brown. The Crazy world of Arthur Brown. hit song Fire, he still tours. likes young girls.and is supposed to be a creep,I think Enty might have stories about him.Does anyone know anyone from Catfish this could be?
ReplyDeleteTed Nugent for the old, racist musician
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Ted Nugent had more than one hit.
ReplyDeleteandrea russett? youtube and instragram star who was on catfish.
ReplyDelete*instagram
ReplyDeleteif it is her, the former a+ singer is 60ish, so he would have been a child when he recorded the hit record in the late 1960's.
Karrueche Tran was on Catfish
ReplyDeleteNobody knows anything from him other than Cat Scratch Fever. Could be him.
ReplyDeleteKae is not dating anyone. Crazy Chris Brown is making sure of it and she is busy filming a show in New Orleans. Ted Nugent is married to an age appropriate blond lady. Tea party Tony Orlando has more than one hit. Not sure who it could be.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a guess, but Enty deserves some kind of crazy grammar award for that first sentence. A gem amongst gems. :)
ReplyDeleteLove ya for even knowing about that little pop music gem by the DeFranco family. It's on my playlist. I thought I was the only one that remembered that Hanson's Mmmm-Bop precursor.
ReplyDeleteNo it's NOT Arthur Brown! I know him personally and he is a mild mannered Hippy. Dates hippy women. WOMEN (age 40+). He only had one hit (Fire) and is certainly not A+ list!
ReplyDelete@Fluffy ,good to know he's matured ,but you have to admit, he had a very wild period, that's still talked about. Enty's definition of A list is always suspect.
ReplyDelete@Zzzzzzzzz, right about that.
ReplyDeleteI love Fire! and Arthur Brown. It's on my playlist and although I know it's coming, I always jump when it starts.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who doesn't know "Stranglehold" has no business talking about music. Go watch "Invincible", it's on the soundtrack, as it's been for at least a half-dozen other movies.
ReplyDeleteAnd hell, "Journey to the Center of Your Mind" was a big hit back in the day. As part of the Amboy Dukes rather than a solo artist, but still on Nugent's resume.
Damn Yankees probably had a hit or three, for that matter, although I'll have to cheat to recall them…hang on, let's check Wiki.
Okay, apparently this song ("High Enough") was a #3 in 1990. Don't really remember it, but clearly Ted, politics aside, is more than a one-hit wonder:
