Abby Lee Miller Talks About Cheryl Burke Taking Over Dance Moms
Abby Lee Miller is weighing in on rumors that Cheryl Burke will take her place on “Dance Moms.”
The reality star spoke about her time on the show coming to an end, slamming the producers of “Dance Moms” and claiming she was “manipulated and disrespected” during her time on the show.
As for rumors that Burke will take her place on the series, Miller said, “I just know they’re going to treat her a hell of a lot better than they treated me, for now.”
She added about the “Dancing with the Stars” pro, “Give her six years, they’ll talk to her like she’s dirt too.”
Miller said of the “DWTS” star potentially taking her place, “I don’t want to speculate. I’ve only met her once. She’s already training.”
Buke hasn’t said much about the rumors, aside from writing on Instagram that she is returning to her dance work.
Miller announced her resignation as she waits for word about facing up to two and a half years in jail after she pleaded guilty in June 2016 to one count of concealing bankruptcy assets and one count of structuring international monetary transactions.
"If you can't do the time; don't do the crime."
ReplyDeleteShe didn't complain until she got fired. She choose to break the law,and the manner she did it showed she knew exactly what she was doing. They stood by her while others complained about her abusive tactics.
ReplyDeleteAnd she owed what about 10 grand in back taxes. She chose to take bad advice and be greedy. She's getting everything she deserves now.
ReplyDeleteshe's a pretty easy target so i'll be the devil's advocate. i hope she gets royalties from the new seasons. no matter what tax mistakes she made as a novice to the world of sudden wealth and fame, coming on the heels of bankruptcy, she's only human. the show was inspired by her specifically, created by a friend, so it seems wrong to let a newcomer take over her role and just erase abbie lee miller from the show. she probably quit as a formality to give producers time to train a replacement should she be needed, but i wouldn't be surprised if she's still on board if she doesn't go to jail. yes she yelled at kids - not unlike olympic gymnastic coaches, in fact in any children's sport you will find the same thing. bottom line, the parents could have left anytime if they felt their children were being abused, before and after the start of the reality show.
ReplyDeleteI'm a trained dancer and love the show and Abby Lee gives it with the bark on just like all my teachers and choregraphers did. She messed up with the BK (i filed for mine too and you cannot forget anything) but her attorneys should have stepped in to make sure all of her assets were included. She pays them to protect her...at least thats what mine does!
ReplyDeleteShe's tough and she will probably find another way to be successful after she serves time. I feel for her, but as a financial professional her overlooked assets looks awfully intentional. I like her and i wish her luck. She will need it.
She owed way more than that,at the time of her bankruptcy, she already owed $400,000, and then hid over$750,000 in income. She also brought money in from overseas work in cash, having other people hide it for her. Nobody would go to jail for $10,000 in taxes owed. I don't disagree that she should make income for creating the show, and they may be trying to take advantage of the situation. Right now, it would be wise to keep quiet, but that's not her nature.
ReplyDeleteThe show wants to go in a sexier direction making the girls burlesque dancers they covered this today on tmz
ReplyDeleteAbbey objected big time to sexualizing the girls which is why they fired her
