Jackie Warner Arrested For Backing Into Police Car While Drunk And Wearing No Pants
Jackie Warner, a former Bravo star who hosted the program Work Out, has been arrested. She was arrested last Friday for alleged assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, according to the West Hollywood Police Department. Police were called when a witness said Jackie drove her car into a pole. When police arrived, she backed her car into the police car.
She was arrested and taken to jail ,where her bail was set at $60,000.
The incident took place around 5:45 p.m. and Warner was also charged with driving under the influence and a hit and run for property damage.
Warner allegedly went to lunch on Friday afternoon and drank one martini.
She took an Uber to and from the restaurant.
However, sources claims that Warner took an Ambien to help her fall asleep when she got home... and she then woke up in the the hospital, with no recollection of ever driving that day. This same source says Warner was not wearing any pants when she was arrested; she was taken into custody while donning just underwear. Jackie blew an 0.8 which kind of contradicts her story. I always thought Jackie quit drinking after her shows ended. Guess not.
I am so glad I am NOT in the habit of drinking while sans pant.
ReplyDeleteOr, taking Ambient for any reason.
(That must have been a sight worthy of camera phone pictures.)
(Where are they?)
Oh!
ReplyDeleteGlad no one was seriously hurt!
Totally read it as Jack Wagner. That would have been more interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteMy Dr. once wanted to prescribe Ambien for insomnia, I said no way....too many horror stories about this drug.
ReplyDeleteAnother person who was a "star" of a TV show that I've never heard of.
ReplyDeleteOK, she was drinking and took Ambien and this is how things manifested for her. It's still a plausible story but the tox screen should confirm things. Too many Ambient gone wild stories, so why is the drug still in the market.
ReplyDeleteAmbian should be taken with extreme caution. About 10 years ago, and after having no issues taking it regularly for over a year (except a couple of odd online purchases), I too woke up in jail. I had taken my ambian as prescribed and went to bed. Apparently I woke in the night, consumed approx half a glass of wine and proceeded to drive around the neighborhood until I smashed my SUV into a stop sign. i was arrested, booked and taken to the station where I woke up a few hours later without any clue or memory of what had occurred. After sharing my story with others, I am amazed at how many people I've met who have similar stories about themselves or immediate family members driving, eating/cooking (and leaving giant messes), ordering inline, having hour long phone conversations, etc in a seemingly awake yet trance - like state with no recollection. Ambian and RX sleeping pills really are scary stuff, and I always tell anyone who takes or is thinking of taking them to use extreme caution and have your spouse/roomate hide your keys. While the entire situation sucked, I am forever grateful that I only hit a sign, and not an oncoming vehicle
ReplyDeleteYou and me both.
