A couple of cracks in the nice guy armor for this barely A+ list mostly movie actor who made his fame on network television. Our actor, who has remained mum on certain political issues has not remained mum about what he thinks of pet owners who treat their pets like kids. Some really bad things about cat owners. Oh, and he is also Paris Hilton attentive and loyal when it comes to pets.
Chris Pratt
So what? He is a charming and attractive A list actor. It's not as if he is plowing underage girls is it?
ReplyDeleteUnderage girls can defend themselves more than pets can
ReplyDeleteHe probably kicks his dog when nobody is around. What a jerk
ReplyDeleteMy mom told me that if i can't say anything nice, to say nothing at all.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason he got this 'nice guy' rap is because he was fat and unattractive yet managed to become popular cuz other fat unattractive men/women due to the fact they could 'relate' to him.
ReplyDeleteThen he went and lost weight and became some 'heart throb' or whatever the hell it's called but he had the edge since when he was fat he was a 'nice guy'. Then he had a kid, completing the trifecta of 'America Loves Me, I am A 'Family Man' Now' bullshit.
He never was a nice guy, he just made fat/insecure Americans feel better about themselves.
He is married to a woman who always looks like she is drunk or high.
Their adopted Chihuahua was found starving wondering the streets.
These people are garbage, and it's not as if they are even talented so honestly, maybe he can go away now and take his pet horror stories with them.
No he cannot act and neither can she. Let's be real.
'
What Melissa said. And to 'Longtimereader', you sound like an animal lover ... not.
ReplyDeleteI don't disagree with you, I am just hoping (probably a waste of time) they are shamed and pressured into at least refraining from doing what Hilton and Bieber do and keep adopting and adopting while scores of innocent animals are treated like props to be used as photo ops when the opportunity strikes and then discarded when no longer useful. You have to wonder about the old saying "You can tell a lot about a person's inner self and character by the way they treat their pets" Or any living creature for that matter?
ReplyDeleteI've got pets, but I'll sure as hell never treat them like they're people.
ReplyDeleteEDIT: And yeah, people who do are lame.
ReplyDeleteDisgusting as is apparently Anna Faris. Saw wine thing about her and a starving chihuahua for which I think she was fined. Assholes and despicable
ReplyDeleteCan't type on this site . That was saw an article about Anna Faris and starving dog. Never will support anything these two are in.
ReplyDeleteFamily members of mine know him and his wife and kid. He is a thoroughly normal guy who works a lot and loves his family. I think the pet thing has been completely exaggerated, maybe even invented by Enty or an enty-writer
ReplyDeleteDon't really know, but the comments here seem over the top drama.
ReplyDeleteI'll never support these two. He's the guy who tweeted that they had to get rid of their very old cat because they were having a baby and gave it away to a random twitter follower. Then she "rehomed" their rescue dog who was later found starving on their street. They're both scum bags who put on a nice guy act.
ReplyDelete@Whatever, Entry did not make this up. The name calling of cat lovers was on his own Twitter. This was because they got rid of their old cat because it was soiling the house. The dog story, they gave away a rescue dog against a written agreement to return to the rescue. The new owners lost the dog and it was found, starving. They were forced to pay a $5000 fine. So this wasn't really a blind, just made from a true story.
ReplyDelete@CheeseFries, your comment didn't show until I finished!
ReplyDeleteThe political issues he avoids is that he came out for Trump. Add that to contempt for animal lovers and his management will probablybe monitoring his interviews very closely.
ReplyDeleteLet me say that "contempt" was inferred from the blind. In any event, the people who market him as a product must be nervous.
ReplyDeleteSo they rehomed the dog and the new owner let it starve, not the same thing as them letting it starve. Not the same venality here as blind implies
ReplyDeleteYup. He's a fucking abusive asshole when it comes to pets. He & Anna Farris should be on a registry to never be able to have pets again.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! I couldn't agree more!
ReplyDeleteExactly. They are both scum.
ReplyDeleteLoves trump - hates cats - ruined The Magnificent Seven
ReplyDeleteFuck the stupid cunt
You people are insane!!!! PETS are not PEOPLE!!!!! They are considered by law to be property!!!!! Stop the ridiculousness. Go after the idiots who "adopt" all these freakin animals and then are never home to take care of them. Paris Hilton, Kylie Jenner - hell all of the kardashians do what Chris Pratt did. He just got caught!!!! He has a special needs child. He is a NORMAL guy who didn't want a dog. Get a goddamn grip.
ReplyDeleteBtW Pethater, women, children and Black people were also considered property at one time.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't like cats - Ruined The Magnificent Seven
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone wonder why he loves Trump?
tell that to the dog... OH WAIT ITS DEAD!
ReplyDeleteChris Pratt and Anna Faris still own two pugs but gave away a third dog they had adopted, supposedly because their child was 'allergic' to the adopted dog, but wasn't allergic to the two pugs!!! Pugs shed hair just as much as Chihuahuas so that is the biggest bullshit excuse ever! TMZ reported on this a few months ago
ReplyDeletePathetic. I love animals, but I'd never treat my pets like people - cause I'm not a fucking retard. Pets are pets, They shit in the grass, in a box on the floor, on old newspaper and pee against trees. They lick their genital areas and chase flies around - THEY ARE NOT CHILDREN.
ReplyDeleteGet a fucking grip you morons.
You don't have to treat your pet like one of your children to treat your pet with kindness. Giving a cat away on twitter and getting fined $5k for neglect is not kindness.
ReplyDeleteTaking on a pet and then neglecting or abandoning it, as he and Anna did with their dog, is not a "so what" thing. It speaks volumes as to what kind of people they are. Not very charming.
ReplyDelete^^^ very lame remark
ReplyDeletePratt is born again ( I am not sure about the word.New Christian?)
ReplyDeleteI know a journalist who interviewed him several times. He thinks that Pratt is conservative ( Pratt himself says he is pro-hunter,pro-gun,very very religious) .
He is nice but dull in interviews ( many stories about his diet or how he changed his body)
FTN my friend doesn't work for a workout magazine
I agree. Can never watch him again. Tried to give his cat away over twitter. Adopted dog and ignored contract to return. Animal found wandering street. They had to pay $5,000 fine--so someone took it seriously. If you treat a pet this badly, are kids disposable, too? They appear to be a VERY narcissistic couple. When he was on Everwood, he never appeared to be someone who would eventually receive so much adulation. Know nothing about wife, have never seen her in anything but they appear to be two of a kind. And yes, pets are like children to some of us. Especially if you live alone and rely on your pet for companionship--my friends are great but they can't be with me 24/7.
ReplyDelete@ pet hater, I cannot have human children, so yes, I do consider my dog to be my child!!
ReplyDelete@ Marlo, and no, I am not a fucking retard or moron. Projecting?
ReplyDeleteThere is no excuse for any of this bullshit. I once had an adopted cat with a contract to return it to the rescue agency. Calling the agency a year after adoption in tears because I tried to kill myself and had to move in with people during my recovery (and thus had to give back my cat), was the god damn worst feeling of failure I really didn't need at the worst time in my life. But I made the call; I listened to their lectures about responsibilities you accept when adopting pets, what it does to them when you give them up, and how hard it is to re-home cats. And then of course there's the added humiliation of being barred from adoption in the future, again like a week after being released from the hospital so I already felt like hell about myself. But I called the damn rescue agency and dealt with the lectures and shame as I contractually agreed to do because it was the Right Thing To Do.
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd say this, I love them. I've seen every Pratt film except the remake of a fucking uncredited overrated ripoff. But they've shown themselves past the PR to be typical spoiled privileged assholes that only care about themselves.
Do you see this PR team? Good. FUCK THE PRATTS. FUCK THEIR EXCUSES. dead to me +11
Chandelier - what am I projecting, that i don't kiss my dog on the mouth, like the likes of Paris Hilton?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear you can not have children, I really am. But psychologically speaking, it is therefor YOU who are projecting a mother-child-like relationship onto your pet. Can't you see that? It's kinda psychology101.
But having said that, I don't care if you insult me or whatever, if it's true you can't have kids, I do really feel bad for you. Maybe look into adoption? It's very enriching to raise a little human, whether they are genetically linked to you or not. I am sorry, but I will never agree that it is equally enriching owning a pet.
I hope you will be okay.
Chris Pratt and "nice". Yeah, right. He is known around town for being one of the rudest, close minded people. I hope he saves his money because after Magnificent Seven and Passengers both bombing and his reputation, it won't be long before he's back to television. I do credit his people for creating his public persona that allowed the ride lasting as long as it did on top, despite his lack of actual acting talent or movie star capability, until the cracks started to form.
ReplyDeleteIf there was a safety issue, baby > cat. And if they gave their pets away, and the people who took them didn't want them but just wanted to connect with famous people, how is that on them? I don't give away my dog's puppies and then follow up with all the new owners on how it's going... it's now THEIR puppy and I'm out of the picture.
