Blind Items Revealed #1
February 8, 2017
This foreign born dual threat A- list actor came down with what I call press flu this week. It means he decided to call in sick so as to not promote his new movie at one of the European stops. Just sat in his room and drank.
Jamie Dornan
At first I didn't believe this cause he was everywhere, doing lots of interviews, but I read somewhere that he was supposed to make an appereance on that talk show "El Hormiguero", in Spain. Apparently he didn't do it...
ReplyDeleteNobody saw his movie.. inpressive achievement. I would have stay locked for 2 months
ReplyDeleteHey at least he was alone. Usually drinking for Dornan means he's up to no good with the ladies..and not his wife!
ReplyDeleteI'd drink more if I had to act with Dakota. The 'effort' she puts into playing her character in the movie is meh at best.
ReplyDeleteHe has all of those obsessed fans.. I'd dip out too.
ReplyDeleteHow is it that "nobody saw his movie" when it grossed almost $280 million worldwide over the last six days?
ReplyDeleteThen u must have not seen the movie....once again Dakota's acting saved this pathetic movie!
ReplyDeleteI think it's meant in the same context as those who paid to view each installment of the Twilight franchise in a theater. It has a more specific, almost cultish following compared to typically successful movies with broad appeal.
ReplyDeleteShould stay in every night... caught him on Graham Norton — I've met more interesting belly button fluff!
ReplyDeleteI saw the 1st on cable and they were both bad, but Dakota was painful to watch. No interest in bothering with this one. Think they both thought it would help their careers, but it really didn't. Melanie pushed Dakota to go after it.
ReplyDeleteYou have...an interesting point of view. One not, unfortunately, shared by anybody else anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI first watched Dornan when he played the sheriff on Once Upon a Time (aka the Huntsman in the fairy tale land) and I have never seen the appeal. Ever. He's not exciting to watch, he is attractive, but not in a way that I find special or unique, and his acting ability is really not good. While I do not blame Charlie Hunnam for dipping out on the opportunity to play Christian, part of me thinks these movies would have been better if he had agreed to do it. I just don't see the chemistry between him and Dakota and the first one was painful to watch. I won't be seeing the second movie.
ReplyDeleteFifty Shades Darker has nearly $300 million that it has made world wide. It has only been out for a couple weeks, so it should make a fair amount more before it is out of theaters.
ReplyDeleteI can see people saying they don't like the movie. But when people don't see chemistry between them? They are both attractive and are styled even better in the 2nd movie, great looking movie couple imho
ReplyDeleteDakota was fantastic but Jamie doesn't put his soul into his character. He seems amused about him. Anyway, he is dull hiss movies make nothing. I don't know why they cast him, but he should keep Dakota as a friend he needs all the help he can get. His wife can't sing to save her life...
ReplyDeleteI feel so sad for Jamie. I loved his and Dakota performances. Yes, the movies could have been better. The fact that both of these movies are a hit will help their careers.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Dornan promoted Fifty Shades Darker until he was exhausted. If you check out the Spanish premier, you can tell that both Jamie and Dakota are incredibly tired. There is also a painful Spanish Facebook "interview" that defies description. If Dornan did skip out on (just) one talk show, he had a pretty good excuse.
ReplyDeleteYour delusional. Dakota was the only thing critics praised about FSoG. Melanie knew nothing about Dakota going for the role. She said in interviews that she did not tell her family until she got the part. As for their careers, they made a ton of money from the franchise and both have have movies in the works. Dakota also is the face of Gucci.
ReplyDeleteWell said. In that Facebook "interview" he mentions in a quiet conversation with Dakota how bad his earache is and you can see he's struggling a little. If they guy was ill, you can forgive him missing one interview.
ReplyDeleteFor those knocking Jamie's acting ability, don't base your entire opinion of him on the Fifty trilogy. The screenplay for those movies was awful. Once you've watched some of his decent movies like The Siege of Jadotville, and Anthropoid you would change your mind.
