Blind Item #1
This Los Angeles born B list mostly television actress has gone the way of Madonna and the Goopster. How? While promoting her new show she has started using a British accent. She says it is because she just absorbs languages and accents. Uh huh. Most people say it is because she is annoying and thinks she is better than everyone.
Busy Phillips?
ReplyDeleteNot Busy Phillips. Just met her, was with a group, a couple of them have worked with her. She was lovely. Very nice, very funny.
ReplyDeleteShe seems it -down to earth... also she was born elsewhere but raised in LA I think...sounds like Heigl but she was born in Utah I believe
ReplyDeletedrew barrymore?
ReplyDeleteI've noticed Diana Agron does this...
ReplyDeleteIn defense of whomever this is, I did the same thing when I moved to London. It is a very easy thing to do. You do absorb it and you are not aware of it until someone calls you out on it. My parents were gobsmacked when I called home a few months after arrival sounding more English than Her Majesty. Cut these creative people some slack. Especially if they're Aries. We have a gift for accents.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say LL Because she said she was learning diff languages and did that interview with a crazy accent ~ But I don't know of any new project she would be promoting.. She's in Dubai doing her "sales" gig..... ;-)
ReplyDeleteRachel Bloom
ReplyDelete@Milly and she IS married to a British guy
ReplyDeleteAnd she was born in Georgia, so it wouldn't be her.
ReplyDeleteMegan Markle
ReplyDeleteVanessa Hudgens
ReplyDeleteMarried to a brit living in london.
ReplyDeleteYep Markle
ReplyDeleteOooh. Marble. That's a good one!
ReplyDeleteMarkle. Damn the auto-correct.
ReplyDelete+1 on the absorbing a british accent. Happened to me and others around me too.
ReplyDeleteIf its Markel she doesnt stand a chance. Ppl are gonna hate her bcuz shes sleeping with a prince. Never mind what she does
Wow, no fair. How come when I "absorb languages", it just fucks up my first language and I start talking weird in that one?
ReplyDeleteLmao!
ReplyDeleteDoes she still have all those moles on her neck?
ReplyDeleteAnd yet I've lived here 20 years and managed to still sound like myself....
ReplyDeletewow - cut 'aries' some slack !??? LMAO
ReplyDeleteAre your parents siblings, because that statement is full-on retard.
I bet white people visiting Africa wouldn't dare "absorb" n then go show off that accent in downtown Detroit.
