Today's Blind Items - Dangerous Game
As soon as I typed Dangerous Game I was back in high school reading The Most Dangerous Game. Did you have to read that? Do people still have to read it? Has anyone seen the movie from back in the 30's? Anyway, this is not about some guy who fell off a boat and is hunted. That being said though, people who have crossed paths with this guy have been killed. Multiple people. So, you have this former A+ list rapper who owes his soul basically at this point to our enforcer who is an A+ lister himself. Barring a miracle, there is no way at this point our former A+ list rapper is ever going to pay off his debt to the enforcer. No chance. I don't care if he sells 20 million records and goes on tour for the next three years straight, it just won't happen. Until the day he dies, a large percentage of his income will go to the enforcer. So, much like a prisoner serving life without possibility of parole our former A+ lister has nothing to lose with his game. He is blackmailing the enforcer. Every little secret that could crush his empire, the former A+ lister is threatening to do. He already threw an opening salvo by leaking the real reason the enforcer's significant other received multiple nominations outside the usual process. The thing is, our former A+ lister also knows who was bumped to make room for the enforcer's significant other and is also threatening to tell that person. That would be a huge blowup. If done correctly, all of this could be front page stuff. Our former A+ lister wants to renegotiate his deal. If it doesn't come, you are going to see some jaw dropping things come out. Oh, and our former A+ lister has never shown a tendency to play by the rules. The thing is though, maybe the enforcer arranges a little accident for the former A+ lister. Make it look like a suicide. Would anyone not believe the scenario.

ReplyDeleteMy goodness how is this a blind. Just how much did he borrow from Jay-Z anyway. What I want to know is what he has over Jay-Z. I don't think it's industry related, but more the things Jay has done and never brought to face the music, i.e.. Kathy White, the disappearance of his former drug dealer buddy. And then there is the surrogate pregnancy. You know he's talking to Kim and Beyonce hates it more she knows her inner secrets.

ReplyDeleteBoth the story "The Most Dangerous Game" and the movie made from it (filmed on the sets used for "King Kong") are really good. One of Joel McCrae's best movies.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've seen the movie The Most Dangerous Game & loved it. I don't know what I'll do once I've seen every film from the 30s & 40s. It's not like new old movies come out every day. =\

Learn to be a man and educate yourself on practical life,.. he wastes time and money on everything he bungles, because artistic dreams don't always become reality.. and he will keep being stupidly vain and unhappy until he thinks it is perfect.. cost a lot to be a stupid, vain and unhappy perfectionist.. because nothing is perfect except himself and now he's bound and gagged to the worst partner, tricked and sucker punched daily to hear her say, it's there fault you are so perfect and smart, sure .. she is laughing behind his back and doesn't give a care.. there is always another sucker ready to fall for her tricks..

ReplyDeleteA former blind on here said Damon Dash had Aaliyah killed b/c he got tired of her and wanted to move on without much trouble. Albeit this is a site that gives a 'blinds may be fiction' caveat so there's that.
ReplyDeleteI know my opinion is not shared by all, but I did not like Beyonce's recent album. Every song seemed to me like about 1/2 done, an interesting idea coasting on Beyonce cool, but not fully explored, incomplete. I loved Rihanna's anti b/c it was actually trying and each song was so different and powerful. I'm guessing the person that got bumped was Rihanna. But Beyonce knows how to play politics so the conventional wisdom is she created a masterpiece. I also think it's dumb to put out an album about your husband's redemption from cheating on you and rebuilding your love, when your marriage is basically a business arrangement and he still cheats on you all the time.
