Enty's little birds were there so let's get some good blinds today
ReplyDeleteI hope so @Lurky... show was good I thought. A few surprises--/ and I knew I should've seen LaLaLand ! Oh well ,by Oscarvtime I hope
ReplyDelete:)
I'm going to apologise to Ryan Gosling, of course Enty will have a blind stating he was caught "conoodling " with some B listed, lol.
ReplyDeleteMoonlight won thank goodness! Amazing movie.
ReplyDeleteThere will probably be one on Emily or Karrueche being paid to be there. A Fallon getting trashed at the the after parties one. Of course, the most drunk and most high ones.
ReplyDeleteTom hiddlesswift and his weird babbling speech. No wonder he and Taylor Swift tried to pull a fake relationship. They both live in a pretend world of their own making where they're the best thing since apple pie.
ReplyDelete@Lurky, they probably paid Emily and Karrueche probably paid them. We can probably start the guesses before the blinds show up. Enty supposedly had a lot of spies this year, I wonder if some volunteer Ed so they wouldn't get blinded!
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch.
ReplyDeleteInstead, I re-watched 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture.'
I forgot how boring it was.
I am beginning to think Robert Wise didn't understand Sci-Fi.
Oh, well.
(RIP, Robert. It was great meeting you in 1984.)
Casey Affleck won something? He was just meh in Manchester by the Sea.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't interested in seeing Moonlight at ALL. Ditto for LaLa land.
And Nocturnal animals was hot trash. Aaron must've won for showing that bawdy off.
Another lackluster year for film.
I swear I just seen LaLa Lands preview last week. It's weird how it can win awards when it's just been released at the movies.
ReplyDeleteAgain, HOW was ANYONE on the show This Is Us nominated for anything?? The acting is absolutely atrocious! Ok, take that back--I think Sterling Brown and Ron Cephas Jones are very believable and the acting is definitely there. Milo too for the most part. Otherwise, I don't know what the HELL kinda PR they threw out there to get treated like this is the biggest show of the century. Unless, its because there are a lot of shitty shows on network right now.
ReplyDeleteWhile I think Moonlight is a great film, I'm puzzled as to why people like it so much. I left the theater I tears, and people were clapping at the end. I honestly don't think people understand the film. While there is a glimmer of hope at the end, it's so minuscule as to reinforce how oppressed the characters really are. I think one has to have lived some version of that oppression to read it for what it is. I'm happy for all the enthusiasm, but I feel this film is misunderstood. Should it win the Oscar, there's going to be a lot of people scratching their heads.
ReplyDelete...meant to say scratching their heads regarding all of the people who go check out Moonlight after it wins the Oscar.
ReplyDelete@Barbra RiceHand, they show films in a couple theatre s early just so they can get nominated.
ReplyDeleteI love Olivia Colman and was surprised and glad she one! Billy bob is great in Goliath and Fargo:) I love John turturro and wish he'd won:/
ReplyDeleteWon.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteThe winner was this joke by jimmy fallon: "Golden Globes: one of few places where America honors popular vote".
ReplyDeleteI cannot stop laughing, and not for the reason liberals do.
I can't stand that show either. I catch some of it when I'm waiting for the 11 pm news. I can't stand most network TV at all any more, especially the dramas. They all have the same annoying formula of musical montage at the end with hipster-alternative girl singer singing some lame song.
ReplyDeleteI'm annoyed that SJP got a nom but Thomas Haden Church didn't. He is absolutely the best part of Divorce, and that's not saying much.
