As is their custom, this foreign born A- list mostly movie actress who does have a long long running movie franchise was on a cover of a magazine this month. She says none of the two page “interview” actually came from her mouth. At this point they are a monthly get people to your movie or tv show magazine when it comes to cover stories.
Kate Beckinsale/Shape
If she can do it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the PR people doing their best to promote!
ReplyDelete"Oh, Im on a cover! Im so upset!". Mah..
ReplyDeleteExactly. I'm not a fan but damn she's beautiful and evidently smart.
ReplyDeleteWith the upturn in women taking control of their lives and careers and marching for various causes, maybe these dainty ladies like Kate will wake up and not let PR people rule their lives. It's about damn time!
ReplyDeleteWho owns "Shape"? I thought there was at least one story before (and possibly 2), about a tabloid having dirt on someone, and in exchange for burying the story, the celeb (Beyoncé was one, Serena Williams the other) ended up doing a story for Shape.
ReplyDeleteHer PR team must be in overdrive month then between this and quashing those rumours of her and Harry Styles dating one another.
ReplyDeleteI remember the Beyonce on Shape, because she normally thinks it's beneath her to do such a magazine. I don't remember what the deal was.
ReplyDelete@Salaam Meredith Corp now owns Shape, but those issues you mentioned was from when the magazine was owned by AMI, parent company of the National Enquirer. I think the blind suggested that the tabloid had dirt on Papa Knowles, and they agreed to kill the story if Beyonce agreed to do a Shape cover.
ReplyDeletelol something similar was also revealed as Biebs and TMZ
