The former reality star turned actress on a bad show turned actress on a good show so she moves up higher on the list did a really nice thing the other day. In line at Trader Joes, she stepped up and purchased the man’s groceries when his card was declined.

ReplyDeleteI don't know her, or much about her but I will say it's pretty fucked up that she gets tossed thru the mud for sleeping around, she is an adult and she is having sex with other adults, one person cannot be blamed for an act which requires two.
Again, not a fan or anything but geez the double standard is rather sickening.
@Melissa I agree with your post on principle. I hate the assumption that women sleep for roles and tracks but men get a pass. but she was married and was (purposefully IMO) caught cheating with her married director. It's hard for me to feel bad for her.

ReplyDeleteShe has a gorgeous voice and is a gifted musician and she is beautiful. Don't know about her acting but she is an amazing singer, not just good but great, in my opinion. She very much deserves a career.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there is such a fucked up double standard for women with all this judgement about sleeping around. Everyone in Hollywood seems to have nothing but opportunity to stray from their partners and when men do it there is hardly the shame game a woman gets. We don't stone women here or cut off their hands for adultary, at least not yet.
