The buzz all started when our favorite foreign born singer/actress came back from the film set. She can never keep a secret. Last time around she hooked up with the lead actor. This time, even though she was expecting something similar, she got completely brushed aside. Why? To have her tell it, the male lead and the female lead are crazy in lust with each other. There was no chemistry between the pair last time around, but this time they are all over each other. Not just on screen, but off. The two are spending vast amounts of time together. When they are not filming, they go their separate ways, but on set, the lead actor is always in the trailer of the lead female actress and they have no shame when it comes to people hearing them. The lead actor isn't ready to bust up his marriage yet, but the lead actress wants him to. It will be interesting to see what happens when they are doing a lot of interviews together and having to spend time together outside the confines of the set, if they will be able to keep all of this under wraps.

I was on a primetime TV show for many years. I think most people under 35 would have been fans of the show although the guy who played our dad is more famous for another role that came after the show ended. This B+ list mostly television actor has had a renaissance (btw the best part of my day was spelling that last word correctly without spell check) over the past year. His career went from pleasant has been to in demand. Everyone always had a soft spot for the guy and overlooked many of his flaws. Lots of flaws with this guy. The charming smile covers a lot of deep hurtful things he has done. Even though many of those are long past, there was a huge issue that happened about 18 months ago. Our actor was on a days long bender. Drugs and booze. Oh, and don't believe the hype that our actor is clean now. Please. Anyway, our actor likes nothing more than using his charm on teens. The ones that grew up watching his show. They are his demo. Always has been. If he could catch them on their 18th birthday at one minute past midnight, that would be his ideal. Remarkably the whole thing hasn't gone to the police. Her family discovered the whole thing when looking through her phone. They called the actor's phone. They explained the situation. Our actor put them in touch with his business manager who was going to cut a check. The actor's attorney though started playing hardball and now what was going to be a simple check writing thing might end up with our actor in jail. The lawyer started threatening the family to try and get a better deal. All it did was make the family angry. There is no doubt the actor would go to jail. There is all kinds of proof. Now he is trying to scramble and make nice and the check will probably have to be double what it was before.

Times are hard for this former A lister. It is hard to believe this actor was once an A list mostly movie actor. He has been in some really great movies, including one of my all-time favorites. He was a tween actor star before there was such a term and he had almost an entire decade of fame. He made a pile of money in that decade and a lesser pile in the decade after. The pile has basically shrunk to whatever reality gigs he can pick up and the quarterly royalty checks from his prime.

Over the years he has made some bad choices financially. Drugs, hookers, divorce. That has left him scrambling. He has quietly sold off the things he can sell off. Instead of cutting back his lifestyle or trying to find some acting work where he does not have to be the star, he is trying to make money selling himself.

He has sold himself before. Mostly for parts but there were some high dollar one night stands with people who could afford his price. Now though, no one really wants him. He thinks they do. I think he thinks he is still that A lister and that people will be willing to pay a premium to be with him. They won't. He keeps lowering his price, trying to find the right amount people will be willing to pay.

He likes to advertise it as just some time spent with him but in reality, you can do whatever you want with him as long as the price is right. A few more months of no income and he will be selling himself for the equivalent of crack money.
