There was a show back in the day that was number one forever. It was must see tv. Of course with only a couple of channels and shows to choose from, it didn't take much to stand out and be number one. I remember back in the day when a President would speak, every single channel would be the President. Your only hope was that some UHF channel was showing something you could watch. Oh, or you could go out and play. Yeah, back in the day kids went outside and played. I know, I know. Shocking.
Anyway, it was back in the day that this show excelled. It was also a time when sexual assault was even reported less than it is today. Certainly on a television set it was next to none. Whether they cooperated or not determined if they would get a second week on the show. Oh, or a line. He would pass out those little favors like candy. One line now on a show is no big deal. Back then, when there were a limited number of prime time shows, getting a line was a bigger deal. Getting a line one the number one show could make a career.
This actor terrorized the women that came on the show. He also terrorized the casting people to make sure the women they were sending were attractive. He would storm through their offices if they ever hired someone he thought was not attractive. One season, the actor finally went too far and caused some severe physical damage to a woman who had been trying to fight him off. The actor got booted from the show and rarely worked afterwards. He quickly went from A list to please lose his name from a list. It was all hushed up back in the day. The actress was given some money and a recurring role on another network show and she wouldn't think of reporting it or saying anything about it. Even today, she is reluctant to discuss it.

Early on in the nominating process, this organization which calls itself religious went all in on a candidate for President. This was their second attempt at trying to influence who becomes the next President. Just like in their first effort, their second was unsuccessful. Heck, it was a total bust. Despite basically paying for almost every expense through Super PACS and hard to track donations, the organization could not even get their candidate to register on the public's radar. To this day, even though it was this election cycle, you would be hard pressed to remember this man ran for President. And he was on the nationally televised debates too.
So, what to do? Instead of just propping up one candidate, the group has decided to go behind the scenes. It is what they do best. I don't think the candidate even has a clue they are doing what they are doing, but they are. First, they are funneling money into a Super PAC. Second, they are paying a tremendous amount of money to the person they first tried to install in office in the last cycle. She gets paid by the campaign already, but the organization is paying her hundreds of thousands of dollars each month so she can give her full-time efforts. They have also taken care of some recent family expenses. Not content to just have this person out there, they are also digging up dirt as only they can. Not on the candidates themselves, but the people who work for the campaign. Little stunts to get some organizing person in a state fired from their job. That sets back the whole process in that state. They also have talking heads who belong to their organization and they are giving talking points each day. This happens not only nationally, but also in local markets where the organization has members in the media. Spin things a little more towards their candidate. Ignore the others as much as you can. Tiny things that all add up. Coordinating all of this is a long time behind the scenes power guy who is the whip of the entire organization. Even the leader doesn't cross this guy. If you are just looking at one piece, you would never see it, but when you step back, you see it all working. Their whole purpose in all of this is to get more favorable legislation and tax breaks in the US, but to also get lower ranked appointees in the new government to get them recognized in other countries.

I was actually going to call this Model Mom From Hell or Mom From Hell but when I started thinking about it, I realized the whole package was from hell. This model used to be A list. The kind of model that walks the runway A list. If you met her at her peak of doing Vogue and runways and being in high fashion you would have disliked her. I'm not sure you would have hated her yet. That came a little later. Oh, and for sure you would hate her. The problem was she was not the right body type. Hmm, how to fix that? New breasts, new face. She says she got that big from her baby. Umm, there was like a three year gap between the baby and her massive cup size increase. And how does a baby give you a facelift? Now she was ready. She got the jobs. It didn't stop her from trashing the people still. She ticked off every model she ever ran into. Told them they were worthless and that it was because she was high fashion she got the gigs. No, it was because she was also willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead. Anything.
Let me tell you about the time she met a long time boyfriend. He was probably A list at the time. He had a girlfriend. Our model met him at a party with the girlfriend. Our model spiked her drink. She passed out and our model f**ked the A lister. She then told the girlfriend she would kill her unless the girlfriend never came back. It took many years for the A lister to manage to escape her.
Did I tell you about the forced diets she made her child endure? Friends had to come from an approved list of families that our model wanted to know. One of those connections did get the model a year long television gig. A good television gig. She was so hated that filming of the reality show was sped up so no one would have to spend time with her for longer than necessary. I am going to go ahead and give this foreign born singer, permanent A list status. You could argue he isn’t because he has not released anything in forever or performed in forever either. All of that non work while maintaining his spending habits has left him broke. So, he wants to perform. Doctors said if he pushes too hard he will end up killing himself. By my count, this B list actress was on cable, network, web and almost television shows simultaneously. She also found some time to do a couple of movies. One of the movies she was supposed to do only a smattering of press, but one of the two female leads didn’t get along very well with the other female lead or any of the stars of the movie. So, she was excused from most press and promotion while the always gets along with everyone B lister took over and was loved by all.
