This A- list singer is just done with singing. Well, for her label anyway. She wants to sing the songs she wants to sing and not what they tell her. She is willing to walk away and do something else.
Yes, that is true. My comment was geared more towards the notion that singers want to sing what they want to sing and not what the labels want them to sing. I do agree w/ you about the famewhores part.
is it possible for such a musician as meghan trainer to be an 'unmanufactured' singer? i don't think so, she has to make something else & don't sing (will be very smart of her)...
She is not a "singer" anyway. She is a hefty girl who made some money glorifying hefty girls in the age of fat glorification. She should see this as a HUGE stroke of luck for timing and all, and walk away knowing that she got the better of the general public. (And also because her music SUCKS)

ReplyDeleteYes. She defied Clive Davis, which shows she has gigantic balls. She gained a ton of respect from me for that.
