Blind Items Revealed #1

November 24, 2016

Several writers have quit this middling network sitcom which is new to the air this year. The reason? Politics actually. The A list dual threat actor who is often under this comedy umbrella and the majority of his writers are from one political party and the ones who quit are from another. They just couldn’t get along at all.

I can't believe the first people to quit weren't the audience.

Why do overweight men with not talent or charisma keep getting hired?

Same reason Amy Schumer has a "career".

  5. Amy Schumer is a size 8. She's not overweight, she just isn't model skinny.

why do untalented, overweight comedians always have hot wives on their TV shows?

No way she is size 8.

  8. Amy Schumer should google height weight chart and come to terms with the fact that while she is not obese, she is technically overweight. She ties herself in gordian knots trying to play both sides of this issue and in the process reveals her contempt for those she personally considers overweight. People can be both fat and beautiful, there are so many women that exemplify that (but not AS).

  9. Have any new shows been cancelled this year?
Here I thought Superstore was new, but found out it came out last January. And obviously This Is Us is amazing!!

Sophia Vergara and Charlize Theron are a size eight. Amy Schumer is not a size eight.

  11. I quit watching after 1.5 shows.
I did try watching the Ray Romano episode thinking it might improve it.
    It didn't...

    I'm a size 8, and around 155lbs. I'm sorry, but Amy might be a 10-12, but not an 8!

So does that mean there won't be any digs at the new CEO of the USA on KCW? Not that I care, or would ever stoop to watching the show anyway.

We love our mindless 1/2 hour comedies with the idiotic but lovable chubby guy. He provides the comedy relief/hijinks. The hot wife....well she's hot and provides the eye candy.

When Amy Schumer says she's a Size 8, she probably means an 8 in US vanity sizing which I can believe. I'm a 4-6 and am 120lbs at a BMI of 20.5 but vanity sizing causes me to drop to 0-2 but my measurements are very solidly 4-6 and i definitely FILM as someone who can wear as a size 6. That's what the public sees, what comes up on screen. But Amy has a built in audience of ladies who are a bit delusional about weight so she'll always get work.

Leah Remini was the reason the last show was any good. She had a strong enough personality to hide his attempt at humor.

Amy is either a size 14 or 16. That is what she looks like to me.

I agree. She could probably squeeze into a size 8 but only once per garment.

  19. chubby comedians (male & female) r not funny (chris farley: jumping, screaming, sweating, red faced all the time - painful to watch)...
P.S. he was the best of them....

Why does Donald Trump have a wife who doesn't match up with his looks? Trump should have a fat, frumpy, wife. Someone who looks like Tammy Faye Baker. Yeah!

  22. I think Notorious got cancelled.

And Pure Genius and Conviction got their episodes cut so I think they will probably the next to be cancelled.

  23. I'm willing to bet that Schumer is smaller in real life than she looks, so I bet she could be an 8.

I'm 5'2 and 145 lbs and a size 9, my BMI is technically a little bit overweight, but not fat, but I probably would look like Schumer in pictures too, maybe a little smaller because she is taller.

I'm always hearing that celebrities are a lot smaller in person than they look, so I'm sure the same is true for Schumer.

  24. Wow!
So much trolling on this blind about being Obese/Fat.
Who cares? I even consider myself "fat" and I am 6'3" and 198.8 lbs as of this morning!.
And, Yes! It is the 2nd worst physical shape i have ever been in my life; (I was 234 lbs 18 months ago.)
Yet my blood pressure is down -- even though Trump's (supposed) win has cost me +/-$8 million in CRE commissions. (I found out this week, that two of the Chinese potential buyers I have been working with have backed off buying in Las Vegas because of Trump's inexperience in politics -- just as the middle eastern buyer did last month.)
Regardless, I will move forward and make the best of this lousy situation.
And the 'Kevin Can Wait' writing staff will -- most likely -- do the same.

"why do untalented, overweight comedians always have hot wives on their TV shows?"

Because Hollywood is NO reflection of the real world. Typically, I see in-shape men with obese, tired, overworked wives who have no time to exercise or take care of themselves. I have as yet to see a hot woman with a fat man unless he is wealthy.

The Simpsons, Family Guy, the King of Queens, the Honeymooners, even the Griswald movies (ugly man married to a woman that looks like a pin-up)... I don't see this in real life. Lazy, goofy, dim-witted fat men can't keep hot women without money.

^^^ THIS comment from Justsayinnnn is the most accurate representation of sizing I've read here. I'm 5'6" and weigh from 120-130 lbs, wearing a US 2-6.

Most skirts and pants a 2 or 4, jeans are 27, jackets and dresses a 6 (then tailored) because I have shoulders and boobs.

I wonder how "fat" I would look on TV.
