Blind Item #3
Apparently no amount of time is going to help the relationship between this foreign born A+ list singer and this stateside born A+ list singer. They just don't like each other at all and this week there was some serious trolling done by the foreign born singer of the other singer.
Adele and Taylor Swift?
ReplyDeleteActuallly Adele/Mariah Carey makes more sense.....
ReplyDeleteRihanna and Bey
ReplyDeleteKaty Perry and Taylor?

ReplyDeleteShe has thrown some shade-kinda funny ...
The "amount of time" reference makes it sound like this is a long running feud.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Minaj and Mariah.
You know, the more I hear about Adele, the less I like her.
ReplyDeleteYep. Grammy noms BS.
ReplyDeleteThe more I hear anyone trolling insufferable Moo-riah, the MORE I like them.
ReplyDeleteMariah, some genuine quality Rn'B songs. Adele? faux- blue eyed soul granny music. The original is always better than the imitation. BTW if you want a truly great female singer from the UK that does soul well, get the Dusty Springfield greatest hits.
ReplyDeleteDamn right June. Mariah is full of herself.
ReplyDeleteHer show is beyond. Her assistant is a NJHW on steroids. It's a must see.
ReplyDeleteAdele vs Mariah Carey, talk about elephant fights.
ReplyDeletebut darhhling is more funny than some comedian 'girls' (well, for a very limited time)...
ReplyDelete...and Dusty Springfield wasn't faux-blue-eyed soul? Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteAmy Winehouse was the only unique voice in about 50 years. Her talent had depth and sincerity and was completely original while echoing and honoring the OG monster bitches of blues like Billie Holiday and Bessie Smith and Nina Simone.
If you like bubblegum "soul" covers, have fun with that. It's catchy, but not original in any way.
Winehouse was original!?! fame school taught imitator who had a great voice, one good album, a dramatic end and james dean style 'great career move' beatification ever since. I could name quite a few female UK singers better than her.
ReplyDeleteIt's the exact opposite for me. I am LOVING that girl - and if she's giving Mariah a smackdown, more power to her!
