Blind Item #2
The plan for this B list drunken celebrity to get cut off and go to jail for not paying a bill was thwarted when a family member stepped in at the last minute and offered up her own credit card via the phone. The former athlete needs help, and this would have sent him to jail, but some in the family don't want to be that extreme.
Johnny Manziel

ReplyDelete@sandy he was "popping bottles"down here like it was 1999 . Guess that's the only way he can get people to hang with him(actually paying would be a nice gesture though)

Typical millenial.
ReplyDeleteSo reckless
ReplyDeleteThey're just dragging out the whole process by enabling him. If they would have let him mess up and figure it out on his own much earlier, none of this would be an issue. When my son was in college, he got popped for minor in possession - alcohol. He called me (four hours away) from the jail, and I told him to call me in the morning. Sorry. You mess up, you figure it out. That's the only way they learn. He called me the next morning, I bailed him out, and he paid me back every cent. He didn't particularly like jail, so he never went back.
ReplyDeleteJohnny comes from money. His family is richer than he would have ever been -- if he was any good at football.
ReplyDeleteComing from money doesn't have to make the kids entitled messes. It's the parents' fault initially, and will be until they let him face consequences.
ReplyDeleteExcellent point @cebii there are plenty of people with a sense of 'entitlement' who don't come from money.
ReplyDeleteIm suprised he is still alive. What a waste
